The sampler is 5 stars because the fragrances are quite distinct from each other and give a real sense of what type of product this perfume label puts out. So it's a good sampler for expanding your horizons. One of these scents has become my new favorite scent, but I'll write a brief description of all four. All four of these scents remind me of the concept of air in different ways. 11:11: A lot of ozone and powder. This is the brand's most popular scent, and I can understand why. If you like "clean" scents, this one is very light and neutral, veering a bit lofty and ethereal. It feels devoid of stinky smells that would upset your coworkers, and is almost inhuman in an odd way. This one and Cote du Paradis feel the most like the founder's brain children, since they have the vibe of the essential oils yoga teachers sometimes use. I don't personally care for ozone and powder that much, but I would never be mad at smelling this. Cote du Paradis: A dead ringer for a whipped praline mousse. I've tasted this exact smell before at a fancy Italian restaurant, although I've never smelled anything that captures this scent before. It's a cool, clean gourmand, both summery and wintery. The nut is hazelnut/almond to me, the whipped cream surprisingly present and airy, and the tonka bean and heliotrope give this to the lightest touch of vanilla/amber. The wood smells are barely there, creamy and blended in if you can catch them at all. I've bought the full size oil roller of this one, and it's a lovely, clean gourmand to smell all day long, very close to the skin. Canyon Rose: The most feminine of the quad. The very beginning is a beautiful, modern rose, quite crisp and youthful. Then I swear it smells exactly like the green Jolly Ranchers. The patchoulli never overwhelms, and the vanilla seems to be more for creaminess than its own smell. The dry down reminds me a lot of the soaps you get at Christmas time, just a bit of spice from the patchoulli with the apple and geranium. Echo Lake: The most masculine of the quad. There's an aromatic scent in here that I'm guessing is frankincense, since who really smells frankincense outside of perfumery nowadays? It's a deeply interesting note, blended with the acid of the lemon and tempered by the bergamot. I could see iris imparting that odd depth. There's something oddly edible to this smell, like a dessert or tea I've never had before - the juniper? Musk/tonka wear until late into the evening. This is a very modern, un-self conscious men's scent, makes me think of living in the woods with a high speed internet connection.
I was ask to review my recent purchase of the Discovery Set so I am with all honesty. I had came across Lake & Skye's advertisment and was intrigued. I read the description of each fragrance and was excited to order since the descriptions sounded like what I have been looking for as my signature fragrance. I was impressed with the packaging as it makes the samples look like expensive perfume. Unfortunately, the products fall short. The 11 11 is the better of all 4 fragrances and it was undetectable within half an hour. The Cote du Paradis smells like coconut suntan oil and felt like people thought I didn't shower after sunbathing. I can't begin to explain what Canyon Rose and echo lake smells like. Not really like a perfume but more of a flat body lotion. There's no sparkling notes or crispness or spiciness. Just flatness. Echo lake being the better of the two, but doesn't match how I pictured a fragrance named echo lake would smell. Pretty disappointed with this experience.

I bought this for my daughter as a gift because of the clean ingredients. She loves how the smell changes once she is wearing it. #sweepstakes

Wanted to grow my Lake and Skye collection outside everything 11:11. While the scent is ok, it just didn't hit like 11:11. Once someone remarked a pickle resemblance, all I could smell was pickle! Unfortunately I ended up returning. Sweepstakes

Nice scent, but I actually prefer 11 11. It was nice to be able to test in a smaller size.
I have never been so impressed by fragrance. Honestly, I feel like I have been searching my entire life for the right perfume and when I came across their Midnight scent... I felt whole. Seen. Heard. Perfectly androgynous. I'll even put some on before going to bed to calm all my senses. I enjot all their fragrances so before committing to one, I got this sample pack! Great buy and nice way to try different ones. I've layered some of them as well. Perfect for putting in your purse also. Thanks for being so fabulous, Lake & Skye. #sweepstakes

this is the most mediocre sampler of scents I've ever had. they all fade within 30-60 mins. 11:11 is good as it gets

I really like the scent, also the oil absorbs quickly and leaves skin looking nice and hydrated.

Lake & Skye's 11 11 is my favorite but their other scents are just as delightful.
I fell in love with the 11 11 scent and was curious about Lake & Skye's other scents. This is a great way to discover the other scents offered.

I receive a million compliments about this fragrance. Truly. Every time I wear it which is basically everyday someone ask me about it. These exact words "you smell amazing, what are you wearing" I've told numerous amount of people. At the grocery store to an elevator. I mean complete strangers. That tells you something. Now Lake & Skye needs to come out w/ a purse/ travel size and a body oil. I originally purchased the samples to see which one I liked. Santal Gray is always going to be in my top 5 faves. I plan on gifting this to some special people. GET IT NOW! THANK YOU LAKE & SKYE 🤍

I've been in love with 11.11 but wanted to try Santal Grey, and I'm glad I did. The scent is pleasantly woody with my favorite musk added, very crisp and clean. Santal Grey is right up there with 11.11 and I'm going to try combining these two favorites for something fresh and unique. #sweepstakes.

I was introduced to Lake and Skye after buying a roller while on tour in Pennsylvania this summer. I loved it so much that I wanted to buy the sample pack. However, the sample pack is all alcohol-based and smells terribble.

I really like being able to try a scent before I buy a bigger bottle. I love the 11 11! The scents could be unisex but are more feminine in my opinion.

This set is a great way to try out the most popular Lake & Skye fragrances. Unfortunately, I didn't really like any other than 11 11. I had such high hopes since I am a big fan of 11 11. Too bad.
