When I rub it between my hands it doesn't even leave a greasy feeling. I usually do 2-3 drops for my hair which just barely touches my shoulders. I think even if you accidentally went heavy handed with the oil, it wouldn't make it look greasy. But I do have dry thick hair which could be why I can use more than normal. I used to use the shu uemura hair oil and could only use 1 pump or it severely weighed my hair down if that gives a good reference. This oil has the same signature lemon scent as the rest of the products which I love. I was worried it would smell like coconut (which I HATE the scent of) because it contains that oil and usually companies like to highlight that smell for some reason. I am also super sensitive to scents but this entire line doesn't bother me and just makes my hair smell clean. I've only used this a few times and really like it. I only air dry my hair so I use this to help lock in moisture/products post shower and then on my ends as a daily smoother (maybe even fixer) for my dry/split ends.Most Helpful Critical Reviewhair oilEnjoy works as well... Yesterday I only used the only and let me hair jair dry - I have curls similar to JA - and started with a couple of drops and just added in a couple more a couple more times. -- This morning I decided to just flatten my hair. I don't like to wash it every day if I don't have it.. It was stiff ... very stiff .. I'll be going back to my old Pantene ... It generally dries wavy and somewhat frizzy if left to its own devices. This product is so graet and definitely my favorite of the lolavie products. As an aside, I like the shampoo and conditoner but don't really love the detangler or leave in. For the oil, I mix about three drops with my straightening creme and blow dry and straighten. Or use it with BB Don't Blow It creme and air dry. However, this is fantastic as an oil for my skin and cuticles. The smell is amazing! I use this everywhere! Maybe it isn't a popular opinion for the brand; but it's yummy for moisturizer. So many hair oils are just silicone with enough oil to put on the label but not really do anything. This is one of the few made of actual oil. I use this two different ways. I oil my hair with it, using 2-3 dropper fulls to saturate my hair, braid, and wash out in the morning. When i do this, my hair feels super soft. Then I mix just a couple drops in my palm, no more than 3 or 4, to my leave-in (Pureology color fanatic) to boost the moisture benefits of the product. My hair is easy to style and the ends don't feel as "crunchy." I also like the fragrance. Its very light, slightly floral, herbaceous and fresh/clean smelling. I almost get book scent from it, like a literal book, paper-like, but in a really wonderful way.
