First the application is easy & flawless. You can spray it directly on your skin or you can spray it on a mitt & apply. Either way, with proper skin prep (shave, exfoliate & moisturize at least a 1/2 day before tanning!) you will get an even, streak free tan. (I prefer spraying it into a mitt- it's less messy.) I usually apply at night, sleep in it & rinse in the morning for maximum color payoff & longevity. I've also done my chest, arms, legs & face in the morning before work & run out the door. No matter what, my tan develops beautifully & doesn't transfer onto my sheets or my clothing. This tanner usually lasts me about a week or so per application. If I need to touch up areas, its super easy. I also use Dolce Glow Mia to help extend the life & evenness of my tan. The only thing that kinda sucks is the price but for what it is, its worth every penny IMO. Plus a little goes a long way; 1 can has lasted me over a month & its not empty yet. I really can't say enough good things about this line. I Have wanted a self tanning mist with clean ingredients for a while, so that i can quickly touch up my face between full-body tans. I bought the dolce shade. To prep i exfoliated and waited an hour after my shower to apply it so that my pores wouldnt be open from the steam. I sprayed this on my chest and face, and used a mit to blend. I slept in it overnight. By the time i woke up It broke me out and clogged the pores on my face & chest. The color, though beautiful, was darker in dryer areas. It took me a couple showers to exfoliate it off completely, so if you have lower maintenance skin than me then this would be great for you!! Super long lasting and faded beautifully, no patchiness. I wonder if the guide color was the problem, not the formula itself. Im considering buying the "clear" shade to see if that one breaks me out too or not. Not once has it ever sprayed evenly, my bottle doesn't even work half the time, and it smells absolutely terrible straight from the get-go. Even smoothing everything out with a tanning mitt after application didn't help with the patchiness. It's also very orange (coming from an Italian with a cool olive skin tone). I got the light-medium shade and it still makes me look like an Oompa Loompa. It's so hard to get off, which could be a good thing if it looked decent, but because of how patchy it applies it wears off even patchier and then I'm stuck with a tiger stripe looking tan for what feels like forever! The ease of application is unmatched. I did not have a issue with the spray nozzle like a lot of other people. It does spray upside down as well. It dries incredibly fast. No smell. It's a really pretty golden tan. For reference I'm a decently light ginger. If you're looking for a super deep, cool tone tan, this may not be it. The wear time is about the same as most others if you take care of it It doesn't get patchy as so long as you take care of your skin and the other thing I really like is on my third day I gently exfoliated and then I reapplied this which I normally would do the whole slopping of my skin off with a sandpaper thing but that sucks and so I tried to just apply this over the tan I already had with it and it looked really nice. So it topped up on itself pretty easily. The issue I have with this is the price. I've gotten two and a half tans out of one bottle and that's just too much money for it at home spray tan.
