I have dense, 3c/4a hair and this product helped give me the best at-home silk press I've ever had. It really straightens the roots out and makes your hair so soft. I was worried about pulling but surprisingly there was no more pulling or hair shed than with a traditional comb-attachment dryer - you just have to use good technique. Another great thing about this brush is that it didn't heat up my entire bathroom using it. Typically with a regular blow dryer, it would get so hot, that I would start sweating and then my roots were back puffy. Not with this one. I have thin hair and I thought it did a great job but I used it three times and it got extremely hot and blew out. I have the big Revlon one and I've had it forever and this has never happened. I had the European adapter on it and my hair takes a very short time to dry. This never should've happened. I've contacted Ulta with no results and I've contacted the company with no results. I literally flushed my money down the toilet. Do not waste your money on this product. I find bought the L'ange but my hand hurt half way through drying. I have thin- naturally curly hair and this does a great job drying and adding volume! Only downsize is due to its size it's only 600 Watts and doesn't get as hot as I'd like. Its well made, very lightweight compared to other one step dryers and had multiple heat settings and a cool setting. This worked perfectly for my fine, thin, frizzy, curly hair. I also have hair extensions. My hair dried quickly and easily. And its great for travel. My only con is the brush is not replaceable.
