When I first got this shampoo I wasn't sure what to expect because I hadn't heard of the brand before. But I must say I am pleasantly surprised. I did notice a difference in my hair after one wash with the shampoo and matching conditioner. My hair felt a lot smoother and was shinier. The smell and consistency is pleasant. There are no sulfates in this shampoo but it still manages to get my hair feeling really clean. My hair gets greasy easily so alot of moisturizing shampoos don't work for me. This is also less expensive than similar shampoos I've used previously. I figured Bosley has been around for decades they should know what they're doing. I'm telling you i was gagging in the shower at the horrible smell! You know those frat boys and 13yr old boys who think that using half a can of Axe body spray is an acceptable substitute for showering? That what this stuff makes you smell like. I had to rewash my hair twice, was late to work and still smelled like an unwashed frat boy. The shampoo goes a long way not much needed per use and has good slip for curly hair like mine. The scent is pleasant kinda of like a soft baby powder meets fresh lilys and lavender. I can't comment on hair regrowth as I just purchased this yesterday. After shampooing I used the conditioner and leave-in and when my hair was dry it turned out beautiful and shiny. In terms of strengthening my hair, I have definitely noticed a reduction in breakage and split ends. My hair feels much stronger and more resilient, which is a huge plus for me as I have quite fine and fragile hair.
