My biggest skin concerns are my extreme dryness and redness in my laugh lines and around my mouth. While doing my usual nighttime routine, I would usually wake up to have dry, sometimes parched skin. Although I have yet to go to a dermatologist, I regularly deal with facial skin that is so dry that the skin begins to chap, crack, and even peel. I put the night mask into my skincare fridge, but I found that the consistency stayed fairly watery, which is fine. A little goes a long way, and the product is very workable and spreadable. The scent is mild, and the product does not irritate my sensitive skin upon usage. Some products make my skin flair up right away; I am happy to say that this product seems to be sensitive skin friendly. I'm 25 and showing signs of aging in some areas of the face, but every time I use this product, I feel like my skin looks so luxurious and hydrated. I will continue to use this product with pleasure. I applied this product twice a week for twice weeks straight (left on overnight and washed on the morning) and did not notice any reduction in fine lines (furrow / corners of mouth). Per instructions, I did not apply any moisturiser (except to eyes and lips) prior to this mask. I resolved on extending my trial by another two weeks to see if my skin (combination / aging) just needed more time to adjust. Unfortunately, by the fourth week, I had suddenly developed seborrheic dermatitis on one of my eyebrows (who knew you could get dandruff there?) and I had to discontinue use of this product. I am hoping this mask was not the cause; I have not yet decided whether I will use the remainder once the dandruff clears up. I have been using Andalou products for a couple years. I have acne prone skin that is sensitive and dry. I have tried several of Andalou's night creams but they're too rich for my skin, so I stick to the CLEAR SKIN ACAI + KOMBUCHA OIL-FREE MOISTURIZER which is light and refreshing; however, my skin is quite dry and this doesn't hydrate it enough. I was skeptical of the DEEP HYDRATION REVITALIZING SLEEPING MASK but to my surprise, my skin loves it. It's light and refreshing, has a nice smell, and my skin doesn't have a reaction to it. In the morning, my face feels more hydrated and I think it may even be helping my acne (dry skin can make acne worse), but it's too soon to make that call. I love this mask because it is thick so you know it is full of moisturizers but the best part is this mask sinks into the skin. Every other mask I have used just sits on the skin and doesn't actually hydrate my face. I wake up and can see my face more plump when I use this product.
