I already use the the Rare Earth deep pore daily cleanser and mask intermittently, so I was a little hesitant on purchasing this. How different could it be, right?!?? Wrong. It's a lot different!!! And surprisingly awesome. It has many strengths as an addition to the product line. I'm not sure what I expected, but it's very smooth and feels almost like a gel cleanser on my face. I thought it might be rough and exfoliating like the daily cleanser, but the texture is nothing like that. It doesn't leave my skin feeling as tight as the other two, so it will be great for daily use. It's fun to use just for how surprising the texture is after mixing with water! It seems to clean pretty well — my face feels squeaky clean after, but it's also NOT drying, which is great. It absorbs oil and makes my face feel like a clean slate in terms of texture. I haven't used it long enough to notice a huge change in my pores, which are naturally large, but all the Rare Earth products make a difference for me, so I'm optimistic. I couldn't do the deep pore products daily, so this was a great find. My face is looking great on day 2! I've had better in terms of cleaning off every last bit of make-up (such as the Calendula foaming wash) but this wash leaves my skin feeling more comfortable. I plan to keep both in my routine, but I think I'll use this everyday, even if as a 2nd cleanse for extra make-up days. Trying this makes me want to try the Rare Earth toner, but gosh Kiehl's — I love too many products and only have so much money! I hope they'll offer a sample or deluxe sample of the toner one day because if it's on par with the rest of the line, I know I'd love it (and I'm not even a toner girl).Most Helpful Critical ReviewThis product is like sandpaper.
