I ordered this expecting a richer version of the original moisturising factors. This product is very thick and emollient and probably most suited to night-time use for me. Although my skin is on the dry side this is a bit too thick and greasy for daytime use under make up or Spf for me. If you're extremely dry and/or live in somewhere with harsher winter conditions it would be great in the daytime too.
Sure, the product is fine, but the ingredients do not justify the price. The main reasons why I'm choosing The Ordinary products are the price point AND the quality. However, since Estee Lauder's acquisition I am afraid that the prices won't be as accessible as they used to be anymore, which is quite the shame.

I have sensitive, combination skin that is acne prone. This moisturizer broke me out within a few days. It's way more moisturizing than the original, but it is super greasy and does not absorb into the skin. Naturium peptide moisturizer is better

If you have very dry skin that is just dying for a thick, long lasting moisturizer this is a great option! Much more moisturzing than the orginal formulation. After 1-2 weeks of use my skin looks so much brughter due to funally getting the moisture it needs. This definitely is not a product for everyone as I can see it being way too much for normal to oily skin. But if you have desert dry skin that just sucks up all moisturizers, this is worth every penny.

Really like this product for my face and neck. Use both morning and night.

If you're sensitive to textures and stickiness, I can not stress enough how much you should avoid this product. No matter how little I apply, my skin is covered in a tacky goo that just does not absorb or dry down a bit. I'm left with an incredibly shiny, sticky layer on my skin that's going to be there all day. I was interested in trying a moisturizer from The Ordinary with a less matte finish than their original, but I'm running straight back to it.

Bought this after trying the other lightweight moisturizer thinking this would be good for my pm routine and i was so wrong. Do not buy this if you have oily skin during the day. Tried this once pm then washed my face in the am and I'm still oily.

It isnt overly scented and it feels very gentke on the skin. It has the texture of lotion, which is expected because of the ingrediant list. A little goes a long way it lasted me a couole of months and I used it every night.

I have purchased other products from The Ordinary and have been very happy with them in the past. This facial moisturizer just didn't have the feel I was hoping for. Not creamy enough for my liking. I won't be purchasing this a second time. Probably good for normal to oily skin

I've been using the ordinary natural moisturizer for a while now and totally obsessed with it! Already bought myself a second tube. Rubs in easily and love its ingredients

More moisturizing than the original. It feels good on my skin. However, I still need an extra moisturizer for my combo, sensitive, and (now under control thanks to TO) rosacea prone skin. I use all The Ordinary products + Belif Moisture Bomb.

Do not purchase this product if you have oily skin. It will break you out and make your skin texture horrid.

I've been using this as a night moisturiser because it is too rich and greasy for daytime use. In saying that, the original moisturiser is not moisturising enough for my skin (my skin is dehydrated by the end of the day). This moisturiser applies on greasy, however, I wake up to plump, dewy skin in the morning. I was spending hundreds of dollars on Shiseido night cream and I must say this moisturiser provides the same results for me when I wake up in the morning. If you can ignore the instant greasiness and be patient and allow the product to absorb and do its work, it is definitely worth it. I will be giving up Shiseido for this.

definitely the best if you have super dry skin

I mistakenly picked this up thinking it was the moisturizer with HA. The first time I put this on and tried to rinse my hands, the water beaded up. I realized my mistake when I looked at the front of the product. This just sits on top of my skin and doesn't absorb in. I won't be buying this again.

I love this moisturizer! The thick consistency of it , is what I always look for in a moisturizer.

This moisturiser is good for sensitive skin, is very hydrating and the ingredients are great. However, the cream is just too thick and doesn't absorb into the skin enough. If you are happy with a wet shiny face look then this is for you otherwise don't buy.

I've been using NMF for years & decided to give this a go, out of curiosity really. It's nothing special, certainly not worth nearly double the price of the original NMF. This is probably the last purchase I will make from The Ordinary... they don't seem to have the same beautiful ethos they had before the Lauder Takeover. I'll continue to stick to the independent brands I'm now purchasing alternatives from.

This is one of the best moisturizer I have ever used. It gives the best hydration and keeps my make up stay in my face hydrated at all times. if you have dry skin, this is perfect for you or combination skin. It does not make your face greasy or anything. It makes me glow I love this.

I have combination and acne prone skin. I love The Ordinary's Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA but decided to give this formula a try. This moisturizer caused me to break out really badly with acne that was difficult to get rid of. I stopped using this product and switched back to the old moisturizer and my acne cleared up. I'd steer clear of this product if you're acne prone. It also is much more sticky than The Ordinary's other moisturizer.

I initially LOVED this moisturizer. I looked flawless, poreless, and had glowing glass skin! However, after a week of wearing it, i started becoming sensitive to it. It began stinging my skin pretty badly and i broke out in irritation bumps. I was soooo sad! If you have dry skin and want glass skin, buy this! Hopefully, your skin will tolerate it better than mine.

I got given this to try by someone I knew because they know I have terribly dry skin. I'm currently using the moisturising with HA. My skin feels so soft, smooth and hydrated. I have not had any breakouts either. Once I tried it I went online and got it straight away. It stays on my face all day and all night. I'm so happy they brang out heavy version because this is a game changer for dry skin. Love love love!

Went to get a second one and it's entirely different than the first one. The second one is greasy and leaves a shine I'm taking it back for a refund luckily I have enough of my original to last a month or so. I will look for new stock to come in at Ulta I think the 2nd one I got may be old stock.

Loved it. Left my face feeling so hydrated and did not clash against my other products. I definitely like to layer so this was very important. Also did not leave an oily feeling or texture.

It leaves my skin feeling great all day but I do have difficulty applying the cream because of its consistency. I like to wet my face and apply cream to absorb better but it's difficult with this cream.

As a woman over 70, my skin is dry and sensitive. The skin on my throat is very itchy due to prescriptions I have to take. This wonderful cream calms the itch morning and night and even plumps up some of the wrinkles on my throat. Highly recommend.
