I have dry patches on my cheeks and chin which causes my foundation to separate (even after exfoliating!). After I moisturized, I used this primer and it didn't set into my skin, it sat on top. I waited about 10m and applied my foundation. It separated even worse and also started pilling where my makeup never has before. It has the slightest tint of color (nearly imperceptible) - it doesn't really show up anywhere unless I have a scab/imperfection on my face, but overall improves the appearance of my skin. When I'm not having a breakout, it's the perfect product for a no-makeup look. I usually just plop a little cream blush on and do my brows/mascara with it for a dewy, glowy look that uses very little product/effort.
