My daughter and I tried the smoothing shampoo and conditioner. First of all, I have very fine hair and it does not hold a style well at all. I need to use conditioner, but find that they all seem too heavy. I used the smoothing shampoo and conditioner and had AMAZING results. The conditioner was not too heavy and I actually was able to use LESS styling products to fix my hair after using the shampoo and conditioner. I typically use hot rollers on my hair every day. After blow drying my hair, my hair actually looked better than it has ever looked. It looked like I had styled it and it was not frizzy and not as fly-away as it typically is. I loved the results!! My daughter has a lot of hair but also has fine hair and she had pretty much the same result as I had. Her hair wasn't frizzy like it normally is after she washes her hair. She did not have to use a straightener on her hair as it was not frizzy! We both really liked this shampoo and conditioner combo. I also tried the clarifying shampoo and liked that as well. The shampoos lather up so nice. My hair also smelled so clean after using them! I am soooo hoping that Odele starts making some styling products - a mousse or gel and then of course an amazing strong holding hair spray! : ) I love hair spray and have tried almost every hair spray out there! I have a couple of favorites but would love to see what your company could come up with for a humidity resistant/memory/strong hair spray! There is no fragrance and it definitely does not strip hair of its natural oils, so you won't feel dried out. In my case, I have a somewhat oily scalp, which transfers to my hair. So I do wish that this shampoo was a little more clarifying. My hair felt oily again nearly a day after using it, and I'd like a shampoo that doesn't require me to wash my hair everyday. My hair was noticeably smoother, but I also noticed extra volume which I didn't want, as my hair is a medium thickness already so I don't necessarily appreciate an extra boost in volume. I didn't do the research but its feels like the formula of one. This shampoo does suds up for me if there isn't too much water in your hair. My hair feel clean. When used with the conditioner as well, I do think my hair is sleeker than using my normal shampoo. For having less harmful ingredients I don't mind it, but I do think you still need to use a leave in conditioner with it. I don't think it's fair to compare it to normal shampoo, but so far I like it. I still have some frizz, but it's a lot smoother and softer than it normally is after using this shampoo. The scent is a light, and natural herbal scent. I personally like that it's not too strong, especially since I tend to use a cream or mousse with scent as well.
