But I just couldn'tSo firstly, I think I received the wrong shade because I have a light complexion so I would've selected light to medium skin tones and I received the medium to dark... That was intimidating. But I wanted to honor the commitment by trying it anyway, and after the first use I didn't notice much of a difference, but after the second use I definitely started to see color... so I went for a third time...But it was pretty uneven and splotchy unfortunately. I was extremely careful applying it and I followed the directions exactly. I exfoliated first, used sparingly on my knees, elbows, ankles and wrists, then carefully washed my hands immediately after using. The pictures show how that worked out. My legs barely downI have used other self-tanning lotions before and had better results. Ultimately, it DID produce some color... But now I'm going to have to go get a spray tan before I meet my boyfriend's family for Easter! 😂 I was still grateful for the opportunity to try these products, so thank you Influenster and Tanologist. The tanning effect is gradual and looks natural, not orange or brown. This one gave me the appearnce of sitting in the sun for a day or two, not bad. The lotion itself is fairly thin and more watery than anticipated. This allows it to spread and absorb quickly, but it's hard to tell if it is spread evenly when it absorbs so quickly. And really, are there lotions that tone & firm? No, I don't believe so, but given your skin will look more tan, it will naturally appear more toned.
