Affordable, luxurious feeling, and effective. I love the multi-tasking ability of this product - biotin for strengthening and purple for reducing brass tones. I use this purple shampoo 1-2x a week. I have black hair with purple/magenta highlights, and this shampoo makes both my hair and bathroom smell amazing (visitors complement thinking I have a scented candle going somewhere) plus reduce the yellow brassy tones — helping my hair color last around 4 days longer before I need to refresh the color with a colored hair mask. I have an oily scalp, and this shampoo cleans it well without over drying it. I usually wash my hair every other day, but can go up to 2 days without washing my hair after using this product. I've been using the Fanola purple shampoo forever and it gets rid of every ounce of yellow you have but it dries your hair out soooo bad so i wanted to give this a try. So the bar is purple, but when you rub it into your hair it does not rub in purple. At that point I knew something was wrong because the purple is literally what takes the yellow out so if it's no longer purple when you rub it in then how would it work? But, I was trusting the process and followed through with leaving it on for 4 minutes and followed it up with the purple conditioner. Bottom line, there was no process. It does not work. Does it clean your hair and does it feel clean? Yes! Does it do what purple shampoo is designed to do?
