However, I was a bit disappointed; it was not easy to hold, but maybe if you have bigger hands, you might not have a problem with it. I also did not get the silkiness I was looking for, even after multiple uses; maybe it's just my hair type. The new design is very strong and makes it easy for the hair to flow through. It worked well heated up quickly and is a slim design. I actually think it could be a little thicker in width to help add additional heat to the sections of my hair, but it did work in the straightening iron did keep my hair straight all day. I took off one star for perhaps it being a little too thin but it's easy to store and it did work well so it's probably a 4.5 stars or perfect star rating. I just think it could be a little thicker where the heating plates are if you've got thick hair helps to go over it a little bit more. However, the flat iron performed well and heated up hot quickly. It's nice sized and has a Great grip on your hair. It's lightweight and easy to use. It heats up fairly quickly. I do like the length the cord is as well. The only issue I really had with this was that my hair would catch between the plates and sometimes pull them out. I haven't encountered this issue with flat irons in the past. It has a unique plate suspension that allows the plates to have complete contact with your hair. The plates are held in by a flexible silicone strip that makes it more comfortable to use the flat iron. It heats up so fast. I like that it has one button that turns it on and you also click it to control the temperature. This button is on the side so you don't accidentally hit it while you're using it. It has an auto shut off so you never have to worry if you leave it on. I also like that the cord has a 360 swivel so you can twist and turn it without the cord getting wrapped around your arm. This flat iron also comes with a silicone cover for when you're not using it. I love how it looks. It definitely looks like something a professional would use. I use this flat iron to straighten and curl my hair and it works great for both. It leaves my hair smooth and shiny. Overall I was very impressed with this flat iron and will continue to use it for years to come.
