I have naturally curly hair but I always wear it straight. This product is great to use before straightening. It makes the flat iron glide effortlessly through your hair and seals your style. The best part is it keeps your hair from frizzing due to humidity. As with any product, if you use too much it will look weighted down (but not dull and waxy like with other products...just limp). I give my hair a light spray all over before flat ironing and then once more after the finished product. I would not recommend those with thin fine hair to use this as it would probably make your hair look greasy. I guess you could just use it lightly to control fly-aways. I highly recommend this product. It doesn't dry my hair out like the sexy smooth shine spray which has more alcohol in it. Give it a try. If you don't like it, return it.Most Helpful Critical ReviewI would buy it againI used this product for many years when I lived in Florida. It worked beautifully and always smelled AMAZING. Now that I live in Minnesota, not so much. It's the difference in climate and the water we use to wash our hair. I would still recommend it if you live in a very humid climate. It gives wonderful shine. Maybe I got a 'bad' batch, but when I sprayed it on my hair, it created this thick and slow dissolving haze and cloud of awful smelling product. It took a while to dispense and lingered on everything! It created a hazy cloud of film on my mirror.
