The lip gloss is the first product that I've tried from Youthforia. I intially saw Youthforia on TikTok and then Sharktank and was intrigued by the clean, innovative company. I bought 01 Sound Stage and have medium toned skin with peachy undertones. On first application the lip gloss goes on sheer. It adds a little color, but still looks very natural...and was not sticky or tacky. I played around with pigmentation and tried adding additional layers to see if the lick gloss would a) get more color pay off b) become sticky. The color does build when you layer it. If you want the color to pop more, 2-3 light layers will do it. The biggest surprise is that the lip gloss never got sticky and feels super moisturizing- more so than Laneige's sleeping mask. While the color looks bright fushia in the jar, it goes on super naturally and on my lips shows as more of a cool toned pink with a little bit of sparkle (no big chunks of glitter). This is definitely my new HG lip gloss and I'll be trying different colors. I've seen some of the reviews that didn't love this lip gloss. If you are looking for something that is long lasting like a lipstain or hyper pigmented, this may not be it. But, if you want a clean, everyday lipgloss that is hyper moisturizing and gives a very natural look, then this is it. Comparisons: Fenty Ice- more wet looking, is slightly stickier, not as moisturizing, but is more volumizing and leaves a pleasant tingling feel. This product does contain fragrance Tower 28- clean product, formulas are glossy, and slightly stickier and less moisturizing. has a great selection of opaque color options. Fenty Gloss bomb- this product is more pigmented, stickier, less moisturizing, but has a great selection of colors. Depending on which option you get, may have slightly more shimmer. This product does contain fragrance Rare lip oil- leaves a tint on the lips, initially goes on heavier. I was expecting a bit oily to moisturize but for me it didn't do that. I had it on only a couple of hours when I noticed how dry. I wanted to love it but maybe simply not for me. I'll continue being a fan of the other products for sure. I think you should try because I have this issue a lot and can only wear Bobbie Brown oil infused lip gloss.
