First i want to thank Divi for kindly sending me these products for free in exchange for my honest review. Second, I feel like I should explain my hair type since everyone is different and have unique preferences, especially when it comes to skin and hair care products. I live in Florida and have thin, curly/wavy but long, very frizzy prone hair. It's so bad. I walk outside after blow drying or straightening and it's totally frizzy and curly again. Most shampoo/conditioners don't do much to control frizz. Ever. I am also a year postpartum, so I have had a lot of hair loss and now regrowth that is hard to tame. I didn't really have high hopes for this product since 1) nothing usually helps and 2) I'm not a big fan of purchasing influencer brand products (nothing against the owner of this brand, I don't follow her or anything. I just feel like just because someone has millions of Instagram followers and who reviews products for a living knows how to create products of their own ya know? It makes me very skeptical) Anyway, after my first time using both the shampoo and conditioner I enjoyed the fresh tea tree scent. Smells like my toothpaste which I totally don't mind and the shampoo has a nice refreshing tingle that I enjoy. The conditioner smells the same and feels rich and creamy. After letting my hair air dry to see what it would look like all alone without any other products to help smooth and tame frizz; I was surprised. My hair had zero frizz. It looked like I had used a smoothing oil. Shiny, soft and smooth. I can't believe it. I will say tho… this doesn't make my hair feel squeaky clean. In fact it feels thicker (which is good) but the best way to describe it is it feels like day 2 or 3 hair but not with oily roots. I feel like there are a lot of people out there that prefer their hair not freshly washed. I usually am not one of them since my roots get oily very quickly but I actually like this. My hair certainly doesn't feel or look dirty or oily but it's just different. It's really hard to explain. I would say if you are someone who likes to put product in your hair to give it a little grit to provide volume and prefer day 2 or 3 hair then I would give this a shot. You would probably love this. If you are someone who wants squeaky clean hair then you will probably not like this. It will feel too heavy for you. However if you battle frizz then this stuff is for you. It works incredibly well.
I hadn't heard of Divi before, so I was super excited when Divi sent me bottles of their shampoo and conditioner for free to try out and review! Let's start with first impressions. I've got a great appreciation for well-designed packaging, and I loved the way the Divi shampoo & conditioner bottles looked and felt. The bottles are flat with rounded edges and have pump dispensers. They're a great size; not too big, but not so small that I'll be buying every month. My fingertips loved the feel of the matte plastic texture. Bottom line: these bottles looked and felt luxurious. Speaking of luxurious, let's get down to business. I was really into the viscosity of both the shampoo and the conditioner. Neither felt thin or runny at all. Again, the word of the day is "luxurious". I loved the sweet mint scent; think Mentos vs Altoids. The shampoo foamed into a rich lather. When it touched my forehead, I was left with a light, tingly sensation. I was really into this. Now here's the explanation for the deduction of 2 stars. For background, we have soft water at my house. The experience was 5 stars, but the results were not what I had hoped. The first time I used the Divi shampoo & conditioner, I washed, rinsed, conditioned, and rinsed as I normally do. After my hair air-dried, the middle section of my hair from my crown down to just above the nape of my neck felt like I hadn't washed out all the shampoo. Hmm! Weird!! So the next time I washed my hair, I made sure to spend extra time rinsing that shampoo out. The results were better! I didn't have that slightly tacky, build-up feeling. The third time I washed my hair, although I spent the extra time rinsing the shampoo out, I still had that residue build-up feel! This made me super sad because I loved the idea that these products were supposed to combat product buildup. Alas! It seems it only works (sometimes) if I spend 3x longer rinsing the shampoo out than with my other shampoos.

I used this Shampoo everyday and love how my hair felt and even how it smelled. It is cleansing but doesn't dry your hair and scalp out.

This product (and the oil) take some time to get used to. Only use 2 pumps as it really lathers. This (and using oil 2x per week) has really improved my hair. So much new growth and less shedding.

I am such a big Dani fan but this shampoo is a big no. I thought the first few times i used it i just didnt rinse it out all the way. My hair is always so greasy afterwards. The next time i literally spent 20 minutes rinsing it to make sure i got it all, nope, still greasy. Finally realized it's just the shampoo. I mean what else could i be doing wrong, lol. Would not recommend.

I've used the shampoo and conditioner for 2 weeks now and my hair has never been greasier. I usually can go every few days without washing but not with this. The conditioner is also not hydrating at all. Definitely not worth it.

I have used the scalp serum a couple times a week for a year so I was so excited. I usually wash my hair once a week. This shampoo and conditioner is awful. My hair feels heavy, greasy and my scalp feels dirty and flaky which I have never had. My hair feels very knotty. After blow drying my hair there was a wax like residue on my brush. Im very disappointed and now concerned with whats actually jn the serum as well. I definitely will not being using anything from this line anymore.

I hardly ever write reviews and I would give this 0 starts if I could. First time I used it I thought I didn't wash it out all the way. Second time I used it I realized nope, it's the shampoo. Even my friends commented on how gross my hair looked

This shampoo from Divi definitely made my hair and my head feel clean. It has a refreshing scent but once it was on my head it was a bit too strong for me but, I also has issues with certain smells...I gotta nose like a bloodhound! The minty tea tree was just a bit much. Tea tree oil is really good for the hair and scalp though.

I was excited to try the shampoo and conditioner as I liked the Divi hair serum. However, I would not ever purchase either the shampoo or conditioner again. They leave my hair feeling unbearably greasy, matted, and weighed down after each use. I don't feel like the conditioner is particularly hydrating either, so my ends are left feeling dry. Prior to using, I was only washing my hair roughly 1 time per week. Now, I am having to wash my hair every 2 days because of how greasy it feels. Would not recommend!

Why is this being sold? The founder wears hair extensions and sprays her scalp/hairline to hide her thin hair. This product does not work, stop wasting your money.

I was so excited for this product but it left me completely disappointed. It leaves a film no matter how much you rinse. Hair feels super greasy and weighed down after. I also shed more than normal when I was using it.

I've tried so many shampoos. I have oily roots, straight-to-wavy hair, and dry ends. Nothing works like this shampoo.

I was so excited to use this clean shampoo and conditioner. My hair started to break and fall out due to how dry it made my hair. I used it for a few months on my wash days (1 to 2 times a week). However this to me works like a clarifying shampoo. This is not an every day product. It strips the hair and gets all the build up and in the process dries your hair. This has been my experience and from reading other reviews, I'm not alone. It was hard watching my hair fall out. For that reason I cannot recommend.

I absolutely love Divi!! It has helped my hair get stronger. I use to have handfuls of hair falling out daily but now i only see a couple strands in lu comb! I love the minty smell as well! All Divi products have saved my hair!

I like the shampoo. It leaves your scalp feeling very clean and revitalized. The conditioner doesnt work well for me though. I can hardly get my fingers through my hair with the conditioner, definitely not enough moishife for me.

I received this shampoo in return for a review, but all thoughts are of my own. I have 3A coarse, damage hair from bleaching, hair coloring, and heat damage. This is a decent everyday shampoo. It smells really nice with a mint/tea tree oil smell. It tames my frizz, but It does dry my hair out. I follow it with the conditioner, which hydrates my hair and makes it smell good. I would recommend this product if you pick it up with the conditioner.

I love the scalp serum but I had major issues with the shampoo and conditioner… I started using it when it launched and have had major issues with hair loss like never before. I would brush my hair with a clean brush and it would be full with hairs, when i would shower i would have more hair in the drain stopper than i have ever experienced before, and my hair was always greasy after shampooing and conditioning. I finally stopped using divi shampoo and conditioner just to see and immediately after 1 wash the hair fall out was significantly less and now that i've not used it for the last two weeks i barely have any hair my shower drain stopper.. I just don't think my hair can handle this product. Nothing against divi, it just didn't work for my hair.

DO NOT waste your money on this shampoo. It made my hair feel very greasy. I even tried washing my hair 2x and it still looked wet after I blow dried it.

I have thick/fine hair and struggle with finding hair products that really make my hair feel clean. I loved this shampoo! It made my hair feel so clean without feeling stripped and dry. It has a minty scent that lasts a while and cools your scalp

Heavy product made my fine hair feel gummy but smelled nice.
Alexa from Louisiana
This did the exact opposite of what it advertises. It made my hair and scalp greasy and full of dandruff. It somehow made my hair heavy. This has never happened to me with any other shampoo. I have long hair and it made the ends like straw. I wish I could return the 2 bottles I bought because it is the biggest disappointment and waste of money. DO NOT let their marketing fool you!

I've been using the shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks now and really like it so far. My hair feels great and I love the tingling sensation that the shampoo leaves on the scalp. I like the minty smell. I am interested to see if I notice any new growth in the coming weeks.

Unfortunately this stuff was horrible. I love the serum but the shampoo and conditioner made my hair so heavy and greasy. I havent used it for the last three hair washes and my hair still has a greasy heavy feel. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

I love this shampoo so much! It makes my hair and scalp feel so clean and love the tingling sensation because you can feel it working. I can't recommend this to enough people!
