I did not realize that retinal is supposed to work faster than retinol and so far I have only used bakuchiol oil, no actual retinol product. As a beginner, this product is only suitable in small, infrequent doses. Using the sandwich method does help but not enough to be able to use it more frequently. I am 26 trying to correct a lifetime of sun damage with great success using just bakuchiol so far. It's a good ingredient, as are the family of vitamin A derivatives.
