I have had dark under eyes since childhood, a combo of prominent veins, allergy bruises and genetic dark circles. I have tried drugstore and high end color correctors and this is my new go to. It's not a simple swipe and you're done, so it may not be best for everyone, but I'm willing to take a little extra time to camouflage my under eye area since it's one of my biggest insecurities.
Here's what works for me:
The product itself should be used sparingly. I apply two pea sized dots under each eye on clean, moisturized skin. Then I use the handy tiny blender to pat it out all under my eyes. A thin layer is all you need, so if I have too much, I blot with tissue. Then I let it dry for a few minutes. It dries down to a matte, almost chalk like finish. And at this stage you're a raccoon with orange circles. Trust the process! I apply my foundation over it now and carefully blend atop the color corrector. Orange is totally gone and so is most of the dark circle. I use a couple dots of concealer (I like the tarte sea flex) under the eyes and blend out and set with powder. Yes it's several steps, but compared to foundation and concealer alone, it almost eliminates any hint of blue/purple under my eyes and I look so much more rested and healthy.
Have been looking to replace Bobbi Brown creamy corrector pot in extra light peach. This offered only two shade options, but peach was described as appropriate for very fair skin, so I hoped it would be ok. It was very peach and way to dark for fair skin tones. The BB product was more like a concealer shade-a light yellow beige with a touch of peach. It worked as corrector and concealer for me. This product was creamy and moist with decent coverage, but just way to dark peach for what I was looking for. Maybe I just need to find a regular concealer with peach undertones to replace the product I am trying to match, because all correctors I have tried are way too peach or pink to replace my previous perfect product. But if you have a darker skin tone which requires a deeper peach or orange tone to counteract dark circles or discolorations, this is certainly worth trying for its creamy texture and usual Clinique appropriateness for extremely sensitive skin.

This product is a game changer. It is so moisturizing and so very effective. If you apply it lightly and then follow with the Clinique Eraser it works perfectly. The key is not to use too much and let this stuff set. I hope this product sticks around because it has really helped me to improve my makeup routine. As a woman in my fifties, I have lines around my eyes and this does NOT accentuate them at all. It helps the area stay moist so makeup doesn't crease in there. This is truly a wonderful primer and color corrector. I highly recommend!!

Love the product. Hate the container & applicator. Product gets all over the tube. Very messy. Applicator wipes it off. Works fabulous using finger to apply.

This product settled in my fine lines and flaked, and made the concealer look terrible. The concealer alone looked much better.

maybe im using incorrectly but creases EASILY, not the best color corrector if ur using for dark under eyes

Why and how could you needlessly get rid of a concealer that we all loved? Awful product now! You sent me straight to another makeup line and I found a way better concealer that is not gloppy. Also much better shades to choose from that make sense! Why did you do this? Crazy decision on your part.

I usually buy foundation in the light to medium range. I'm glad I got this for free, because even the lightest one is just too dark for me. I do better with a touch of yellow under my eyes, even though my skin tone is cool.

Im in my 40's and this make the fine lines around my eyes more noticeable

I do not like this product at all, I was looking for the line smoothing concealer that I had been purchasing for years to help with dark circles. This product does not help at all. Please bring back line smoothing concealer, sometimes it's better just to go with what you know and stop trying to perfect something that already works.

No, I did not love it. I didn't even like it! It accentuated my under eye lines making them appear even older and very dry. Also it was difficult to blend.

I have some rosacea and this completely covers it. What's great is that I can wear this with or without foundation and it covers and blends. For my undereye area, it brightens subtlety. I rarely have dark circles, so I can't speak to how it covers those. It does not settle into the lines I have, which is a plus. I got my first one free with purchase of another Clinique product and I'm here to buy another one. I like it that much.

Bought this along with the serum foundation and was disappointed with both products. The concealer I'm using now is Clinique and I love it but don't see it for sale so it must be discontinued unfortunately. I'd send it back but too much of a hassle to do.

I thought I was going to like this a lot, it went on smoothly. But within the first week I was using it, both of my under-eyes started being dry and irritated. There were flaky red patches. I have never experienced that before (either with other concealer or just normally), and I don't normally have dry skin on my face. I also don't have particularly sensitive skin. I wouldn't recommend this at all!!

I went to Ulta looking specifically for a color correcting concealer and this one was recommended by a sales person. I am very pleased with it- moisturizing and great coverage.

I'd definitely buy this again.

I asked beauty advisor how to use this product for dark under eye circles. She recommended this product and said to let your moisturizer dry first then apply. The product went on smooth then turned very dry, settling into fine lines. Will be returning

I love this corrector. I've been desperately trying to find new correctors after lancome and estee lauder discontinued theirs. This is nice because it blends well for blue circles/veins. I like to mix it with my concealer as well to lighten it up in areas and it really helps to conceal. I wish they had this in yellow and pink also, but sadly they dont. For anyone that doesnt like to do a full face of makeup, it blends nicely and doesnt look cakey.

This was recommended to me via online chat. I was wanting to order the Beyond Perfecting Super Concealer but found it was discontinued. I was told this would be the product to use for dark under eye circles. I ordered it based on that recommendation and was so disappointed. It did nothing to hide dark circles. I even applied my foundation over the concealer but it just doesn't help. I tried using it for a sunspot and no help there either.

This did absolutely nothing to hide dark circles

I actually like this better than the discontinued concealer. I bought the lightest color and love that it has a soft, dense sponge in addition to the applicator to gently and effectively smooth it and the edges. I'm 70 with skin that truly is more like I'm 60. I use it to cover the dark circles under my eyes (been doing this since high school; been using Clinique for about 4 decades) and the spider veins on each side of my nose as well as one raised bump that is darker than my face.
I will say that I use a bit of Bare Essentials face powder to set the concealer, but with this new one, I'm going to try not to and see what happens--that's how good it looks when I'm done applying and smoothing it.
