Cradled is a nice Stepford-wife type of earth pinky beige. Lost Time rides the line between red and wine in the best way. Little Little is the perfect hue of pink with beige undertone. 4ever Flame is an awesome bright red matte. The formula is very matte, as its name implies and it stays in place all day for me. I prefer to outline and then fill in my lips with a lip pencil, then apply a lipstick or gloss on top. These pencils are perfect! I would love to see a wider shade range of fun colors offered, as there are a plethora of beige and neutral hues but very few brights or experimentals.Most Helpful Critical ReviewLovely pencils but…..These lip liners were everything you could want in lip liner! I lined my mouth then, tried to blend it into my lip. Surprised yet, horrified... blending was not an option. I looked like I took a brown sharpie to my lips and it wasn't moving. This is not a horrible thing for a lip liner!! It glides on like butter. However, make sure it is exactly the color you want because it will be a point of no return. My only complaint are the descriptions and swatches. There are two "matte caramel" colors but look totally different. Definitely not disappointed. Rich pigment glides on full color with the very first stroke. The liner stays put through coffee, lunch and drinks with just very minor touch ups. It even works for older ladies like me (50). Price point is also reasonable for what can only be characterized as a prestige lip liner. My only complaint is it can be a little on the dry side which I think can be solved with a proper lip prep routine. That being said, this is a beautiful lip liner. This applied so smoothly, I think whether you're a lip liner expert or beginner this is a great product to work with. I haven't worn it alone but since it's so smooth I'd imagine I'd be comfortable enough to wear alone. I will say it's not completely transfer or smudge proof, but it is long lasting. The shade I got (Happy Endings) is a great nude, I've used it with plenty of different lipsticks and it works great with all of them. Also while this is a higher end line I appreciate that these aren't insanely expensive. If you're thinking about getting one of these, do it. My favorite is Little Little. I will even use just the lip pencil with some clear gloss over it sometimes. These pair great with the lipstick as well and make the lipstick less drying on your lips.
