This eye super charged gel crème feels really nice going on. It is a bit thick but doesn't feel too sticky when applied under the eye area. I used it only in the PM and in the morning the area under my eyes would feel a bit tighter and my little eye wrinkles from squinting were less prominent. It has a strong scent like oranges in the tub, but not on the skin. This eye cream does not have a long shelf life after opening only 6 months, and the price is expensive for the quantity. A little does go a long way, but I don't think I could commit to ever buying the full size for the price. If your concern is wrinkles though this may be worth it. I think with consistent use you could definitely see a difference. The packaging is recyclable as well as the packaging of the full size sold here which is nice. It definitely brightened my dark circles, but it wasn't an extremely dramatic difference. I recently had a very bad reaction to an eye cream with retinol in it and so I was nervous to try any other eye product, but this one gave me no irritation at all and kept my under eye area hydrated enough. I don't know if this would work really well under concealer though since it is working on those lines and wrinkles I would recommend only using it at night as a more intense eye treatment personally. Overall if you can snag a sample size and try it for yourself before buying the full size I'd recommend it!Most Helpful Critical ReviewAllergic ReactionJust as others have reported, I had an allergic reaction to this product. (Advanced night repair Eye supercharged Gel– cream.) I contacted Estee Lauder to inform them and ask them to replace this full size cream with another full size eye cream that I have used in the past. The Estee Lauder associate never asked what reaction I had, nor wanted to know which product and said she didn't have the authority to send a replacement. I even asked"so you don't want to know which eye cream I was allergic to?" Then she asked me if it was the advanced night repair Eye Gel. So they obviously know there is an issue. She said she would transfer me to an order agent and they would record it and figure out how to proceed. I then had to rehash everything and finally they agree to send a full size of my old eye cream. They never asked my reaction, but I let them know it caused red, scaly, itchy skin in my delicate eye area after only two applications. I later developed some sort of red bump similar to a stye on my bottom eyelid. That eventually burst it was disgusting. I still have a red bump on my bottom eyelid , well I received my replacement in the mail today. First of all it is the wrong product and it isn't even an eye cream. Secondly, it's one of the tiny sample sizes and it has a hollow hole in the middle of the container so there is hardly any product inside. This is so frustrating given all the money I spend on the Estee Lauder online site . Dear Estee, Lauder, don't bother responding with the generic post and say you're happy to resolve. Initially I loved it because it's very hydrating, absorbed quickly, and my under eye area looked plump and healthy. However, after using it for a couple of weeks my skin started to look red & scaly under my eyes so I stopped using it. After my skin cleared up I gave the gel another try just in case something else caused the reaction and within 15 minutes I had big welts under my eyes and very red skin. The swelling was so bad that I took Benadryl and needed ice packs.
