Normally I use dry shampoo spray and have honestly never been satisfied with the results. This was my first time trying a dry shampoo powder. Let me emphasize that you MUST follow the directions exactly for the best results. I did it without reading the directions the first time and I looked like I poured powder on my head, even after brushing you could still see a white cast. Then I read the directions, applying the powder and allowing it to sit and absorb for at least two minutes. It is also helpful to section your hair and do it one section at a time. This worked wonders for my hair! I tend to have oily roots and dry ends. This refreshed the roots and they looked freshly washed. After brushing this through my hair I was surprised that it seemed to soften and condition the ends as well. It has a wonderful light, fresh scent. It did give my very fine hair volume as well! What I do not like at all is the applicator. You honestly can't control how much comes out. I have used this multiple times and I either get too little of the product or it comes out in a big powdery glob. I believe that this even says it is an â€œimproved applicatorâ€. The applicator needs more improvement but I love the product itself so I would still buy it. I figured if I didn't like the product, I could refill the cute bottle with some DIY dry shampoo. Well, I've had this dry shampoo for months now and I'm not even halfway through the bottle. This stuff lasts SO MUCH LONGER than aerosol dry shampoo. I will agree with the other reviews that the applicator is not the best, but it's better than a lot of other powder dry shampoos. I think you get a decent amount of control and even if you accidentally over-apply, this powder is very finely milled so it's easy to blend out with your fingers. As far as how it performs as a dry shampoo, it does an excellent job of absorbing oil but does not leave a lot of buildup in the hair - it really makes your hair look and FEEL cleaner. The fragrance is very light and not overpowering. I'm a huge fan and would definitely repurchase, even though this is more than i'd typically spend on hair product.Amazing5Svvvyyyyy from UnknownI hate using aerosol dry shampoos and decided to try this out on a whim, im so happy i did! Its wonderful, super lightweight but makes my hair feel clean. I notmally get oily relatively fast so this has been wonderful for extending my time between hairwash days without having my hair be a grease vat. It smells good but the smell isnt overpowering like the living proof dry shampoos. I havent had any irritation from it, and it is a wondeful product! I would never just squeeze this into my hair. I squeeze it in my palm, coat my hands with the powder, throw my head upside down and rub in the powder to the oily parts of my hair. I let it sit of for 2 mins then rub it in a little more then lightly brush it through. It works so great and lasts for a very long time! I have tried so many other brands but this by far is the best powder I have come across.
