I have really short and light lashes so I look for mascaras that lift and provide volume to my lashes. That being said, I also don't like clumpy and heavy mascaras that make my eyes look like doll eyelashes. This mascara is a super win for me because it has a light weight formula that provides very natural looking eyelashes yet with much more volume and lift! Thanks to the hyaluronic acid my lashes look pumped after 3-5 coats. It is a 3-in-1 product as in - has a primer, serum and mascara in one which is really amazing because I don't have to buy or use three different products just for prepping lashes. It has some ingredients such as keratin, biotin, hyaluronic acid, panthenol (vitamin B5), and castor oil that provide adequate nourishment to the lashes to make them longer and thicker with frequent use. I love the wand with the curved design - helps to apply multiple coats with ease. The bristles are soft and haven't poked my eyes yet! I tried both the shades - dark brown and black. Although both look very natural, dark brown looked effortlessly natural for me.Most Helpful Critical ReviewJust okay, won't be repurchasingI got this mascara in a beauty box and was excited to try it out, as it's supposedly for my 'age group'. Mascara is part of my essential everyday makeup look since the 80's when I was a teen, and I've tried so many over the years. This one did not wow me at all. It coated the lashes ok and has a bit of lengthening and volumizing, but I've had much better from other formulations. I like to have the glam lash look, and this doesn't give my lashes the volume and length I'm looking for in a mascara. I had to layer on 4 coats of this mascara to get something closer to what I usually get from 1 coat of Too Faced BTS mascara, minus the length as the Too Faced mascara has fibers in it. The brush is okay, I wish it had a wider end to be able to really get in the inner corners without smearing mascara on my browbone. The mascara wears well all day and is easy to remove, but over the course of the day it does leave a bit of a raccoon eye shadow under my lower lash line (I don't use mascara on my lower lashes so it migrated down from my upper lashes, no bueno) I had to keep cotton swabs in my handbag to clean up the embarrassing raccoon shadow during the time I was wearing it. In short it's really nothing special and I won't be repurchasing. In my opinion the Cover Girl green Clump Crusher mascara is a lot better than this one, you can actually wear that one on your lower lashes without worrying about raccoon eyes. I don't think the added hyaluronic acid in this formula is worth putting up with raccoon eyes and not enough volume. Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara contains a Hyaluronic Complex and Bamboo Serum to condition and volumize lashes. The applicator's design is a curved, bushy brush to help build volume as you apply the mascara to your lashes. The mascara is ophthalmologically tested, is safe for sensitive eyes and for contact lens wearers. In the four decades I have utilized Cover Girl mascara, this is the worst Cover Girl experience I have ever had. The mascara applicator resembles a child's chubby crayon with a curved, bushy brush. The mascara formula is thick and clumpy. After applying it to my lashes I had to do a comb through to remove the clumps. The product did rub onto the waterline of my eyes as blinked throughout the day. Cover Girl needs to listen to their customer base instead of following the latest makeup trends. Cover Girl Professional Mascara 3 in 1 has been a best seller since it was introduced in the late 1970's. Why discontinue a product which is a makeup staple and holy grail mascara?
