I don't really understand all the low reviews here. If you lightly spray across and don't stay in one spot too long, it looks pretty natural. If you find it gets a little too much on your scalp just put your finger to the root and gently touch it a bit as the color will come off, but leave it on your hair. It's perfect for in between salon visits. My only comment is that it doesn't have the same shine and looks more flat than your hair color but again, if you do it gently, slowly, and lightly, it will do it job. I wash my hair every few days and it will stay on the entire time in between a washing. I only do it when my gray gets to the point where it's noticeable.
I used the other Everpro Gray Away for years (the one in the silver can with colored cap). Looks like Ulta has replaced it with this newer version. I hate it. This new one leaves my hair sticky and it FADES throughout the day. I'm not even touching my roots. The only good things I have to say is that this one doesn't make as much of a mess (has a more targeted spray nozzle) and the dark brown color is spot on. Just wish it'd last longer than a few hours.

Good coverage. I spray my roots and areas that need it , then let dry for a few minutes and I give it a quick brush through and I'm ready to go. The colors they offer match perfectly.

One of the many sprays I tried and I hated. Same problem as the rest: it leaves my hair hard and gunky. Impossible to run a comb through it. Wake me up when they come up with a powder in a spray can.

This is my go to root color touch up in between home or salon hair color appointments! I even use it at other times to sharpen my part line which makes a big difference. Spray lightly in a smooth motion about an inch or 2 away from your roots and then use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol to clean up the part line and a tissue with alcohol at your hairline. Easy! Lasts even through sweat or rain 'til the next shampoo. The color names are darker than expected: For medium brown probably choose light brown.

Used according to the directions, but was left with wet and yellow roots. Not blonde, the "light blonde: shade was Big-Bird yellow. My roots were seriously wet, which isn't ideal when I've just straightened my curly hair. No, just, no.

I like this color a lot, it's a different shade of light brown from the Clairol product. I have a lot of gray and do my roots every three weeks. This product definitely helps me get through that last week. I spray it on, then rub it in with my fingertips so it doesn't look so obvious there's a spray of color sitting on top of my head. Will definitely buy again.

Best spray on root touch up yet and Ive tried them all. Matches my hair perfectly and lasts. Easily washes out cleanly during a shampoo. I highly recommend this in between colorings

This product is by far my fav brand of root cover. I have tried 3 products: this one, Orbie, and Loreal. This one matches the best, covers the best, dries easily, and stays put. I have light brown hair and do have some highlights. I find this product covers in between colorist appointments without it being totally obvious. The smell isnt particularly my fav, but coverage is what I am looking for. The product also is not terrible to eliminate the natural shine of the hair shaft. I just bought this product again, so I definitely recommend it. One tip: put this product on the hair before apply other hair products.

I liked this product. It went in really easy. The medium brown covered my gray real well. I would purchase this again if I was not able to get into my colorist.

I've used several different brands of root cover up spray. This one wasn't great. It had good coverage, but never fully dried. I got brown residue on my hands each time I touched my hair, even 5-8 hours after I sprayed it. I wouldn't recommend.

Buy this on a regular basis, works perfectly to cover my gray between colors. My usual light brown (have light blond hair, light brown roots) was out of stock online so tried the blonde/dark blonde, which was absolutely non-existent color. I even sprayed a bit in my white sink and couldn't see any color. Luckily my local ulta had my light brown in stock so I easily exchanged. This is becoming hard to find at ulta online which is frustrating.

Prevent touching your hair all day other wise your fingers will picked up the paint. Thereafter, paint all over your face and clothes. Wear black but does not look natural with dark spots on your face. What a mess! Sticky too. Good luck

I it works perfectly to cover my gray and roots. The color is true to the collar on the cam.

I have tried every root cover up there is. Hair mascaras, powders and other sprays. This is by far the most superior product I've used. No transfer. I can spray it on, wait 10 minutes and run my hands through my hair with nothing coming off on my fingers. It hasn't sweat off under my biking helmet during 90 degree weather. I absolutely love this.

Easy to use, just don't overspray. Not sticky and lasts until next shampoo.

This does a good job of covering my grays and staying in until the next shampoo. I have not noticed any pillow or clothing transfer. It is a little bit messy to apply however.

What they said- this spray works to cover up and conceal grays in between salon appointments. Conceals completely even in florescent lighting too. Just be sure to use an index card to stop spray from getting on face when doing the hairline, and hold your breath. The nozzle is small and is so for precise application, not difficult to use, you have to adjust yourself. I am liking the new larger can, not sure if same formula, lots of aerosol comes out in spray. But color is same TBH. Happiness :-D

Ive tried a few root sprays and nothing beats this! Its easy to use and spread, its not messy, its long lasting and it covers up all my grays. This is what holda me down between my salon appointments. Highly recommended!
