As a priming for makeup, this product satisfies two main requirements: it's fast absorbing and it doesn't make my makeup look cakey or pile up. It has a foam-like/mousse-like consistency, which is...interesting because I have never had any product like that. I am not very sure whether the "brightening" is part of "priming" or of "serum". If it is the first, then I don't really see much brightening effect from this after applying. Not saying that there is none - there is some brightening but compared to other brightening primer the effect of this product is not as significant. However, because it's a serum as well, I guess the brightening process is slower and needs time to actually change your skin permanently instead of temporary as a makeup. Overall, for the value of this product, I think it is a good priming serum to be used.Most Helpful Critical ReviewNot really noticeable under foundationI wasn't too sure how I would like this when I first got this because I get really cautious about things that are brightening since it can tend to make me look oily if I am not careful with products. I would only use a pump for my whole face because I don't like to look too shiny. The brightening part of the product looks like micro glitter and when I first applied it, I was afraid I would look a little too shiny. I used it under my foundation and thankfully it isn't too much, but at the same time I feel like it can only work well if you use sheer foundations because anything that is too heavy can most likely just mask the brightening part of it. I think if you prefer to be noticeable with heavier foundations, you can most likely mix it into your foundation. I do like that it is a serum so it doesn't feel too heavy on my skin. I think I would probably try mixing it into my foundation next time, but with a smaller amount. It would probably save some product but at the same time, be a little more noticeable. I feel like when you use a matte foundation over it, it becomes pretty undetectable. But overall i think it is a ok product.
