It's buildable color so it will work for special occasions as-well. You only need a very small amount so this tube will last a long time!! It has a very silky and creamy feel and blends easy. It does dry like liquid foundation so I set it with translucent setting powder . I also swatched the color coastline, it is more of a darker red ish tone. Provence is more of a natural pink . It appeared pale and at first i couldnt really see it on my skin so i applied a second layer which was VERY PATCHY just ribbing with my finger tips. I let it dry for a moment and moved the product around again on my bare skin with my fingertips and it gave a beautiful natural flush with a dewiness that looked like my natural skin! It wore well over hours. I was surpised i liked such a light pink and how the formula melted into my skin. Not sure how this will work over makeup, perhaps over a skin tint would be okay but for natural days with just sunscreen on this is nice but the patchiness makes it so the product takes longer to apply well.
