I was very excited to explore and test this perfume as I'm very familiar with the Valentino line of fragrances. The bottle design is a very important aspect to me, as I also use fragrances as display pieces. This particular bottle is very appealing. As this is a variant of the original, it still maintains a recognizable style, but enough difference to really make it unique. This is also an 'eau de parfum', meaning it should have a fierce, long-lasting fragrance. The top three accords of this scent are: musky, fruity, and rose. I began by applying this directly to my skin on all of my prominent pulse-points. As for the 'initial onset', I found it to DEFINITELY be my type of perfume. It is extremely sweet - a bit of the fruity-note pleasantly intertwined with the florals in the most perfect way. It is a very strong scent, one that instantly reminded me of the freshness of the glossy pages of a new magazine. I checked-in on the wear progress after three hours, and it still provided a very powerful aroma. As it continued to wear, I noticed it took on a more 'fresh' vibe, which I really enjoyed. I kept wearing this all-day long, and re-checked it as I was preparing my nightly routine. It was still the same - noticeable and fresh during that time. It is a fragrance that will endure your longest days! I personally find this to be a very feminine scent. Although I typically prefer unisex fragrances, this is one I will certainly keep wearing. My husband (who is very honest regarding fragrances) gave his absolute approval and continously commented on how good it smelled! While I wear this, I instantly feel more confident and irresistible. I can envision myself wearing this all of the time, for numerous occasions. Although 'rose' is listed within the top three accords, I don't smell it heavily in this fragrance. I'm NOT a fan of rose-scented things, but this one is incorporated and mixed remarkably well. Concerning the best purpose for wearing this - I honestly see this as a normal, daily wear. I can even imagine this becoming somebody's 'signature scent'. I truly think this perfume will pair amazingly well with the upcoming Spring fashion scene.
I received this complimentary from #Influenster and #Valentino in exchange for my honest opinion, and here's what I think about it: Let's get the obvious out of the way - this bottle is gorgeous. It's very pleasant to hold in your hand and quite comfortable in use. Now to the less obvious parts... the scent is pretty but is also very "meh" in a sense that it is an echo of so many scents you can find not only in perfumes but in body mists from at least one very popular retailer (anyone looking for some lingerie? *hint-hint*). I would say that the fruity notes (kiwi, especially) make it quite youthful. Born in Roma Coral Fantasy would be a fun everyday type of a fragrance to use in the spring/summer when our moods and spirits are lifted, but don't expect it to come off as anything sophisticated or mature. The other not so obvious thing I must talk about is the longevity and projection of this fragrance... they are just not there! Maybe the projection is not much of an issue right when you apply it, but the longevity is much to be desired for here. It only took an hour (maybe two) since applying for it to be very much gone from my skin. That's not great, especially for a house like Valentino. Many flankers to the originals seem to do poorly lately, and this is not an exception. Is it the worst fragrance? No! Again, it's pretty. If you have extra money to spend, go for it. But you could also get something similar for the lower price.

This is my all time favorite perfume, however, it does not last long at all. I recommend layering it with a strong and long lasting vanilla scent.

Good perfume if you like something that it is sweet like candy. I'd say it's more of a younger flirty perfume. It was a fun playful sweet smell to it, perfect for hot summer days

I always have loved Dolce and Gabana the one but this by far is my new favorite scent for everyday use. Not too overwhelming and you don't need a ton to smell amazing. Making the price point worth it.

It's such a gray scent I hate the lemon citrus scents but this smells sweet and citrusy not the normal everyday scent but perfect for a night out.

I asked my husband for this for Christmas and got it! It's such a beautiful tropical scent! I can't wait to wear it when spring/summer begins! It has notes of kiwi and Brazilian orange as well as jasmine rose, to cedar and white musk really a beautiful fragrance. I wore a tester and got so many compliments on the scent!

I bought this recently and was a bit disappointed! Smells so bright and citrusy but definitely is not long lasting neither does is project. No scent trail when you walk but someone may smell it on you if they are VERY close. Only last about 2-3 hours on skin and clothing
