I wanted lip protection for when I'm outdoors for long periods of time as none of my lipsticks or balms offer this. I was worried there'd be a strong spf flavor, but it's not terrible. There is a little bit of a taste if you lick your lips, but unless you're extremely sensitive you may not even notice. After initially putting it on I forgot I was wearing anything, which is the sweet spot. I'm wearing it often even if I'm staying indoors because it has been helping to heal my extra dry lips.
Got this and deeply regretted it. I wouldn't eat or drink anything yet I can taste plastic in it even though I know it's just chemicals, and I even applied a normal amount too. The only time I don't really taste the plastic is if I barely apply it but sometimes I would still taste it. I'm just upset I didn't keep the packaging to return it. Might throw it out if I find a better alternative.I really wanted to love this because all of the other Aquaphor's products I've tried and loved but this was a let down

Im not too sure why this product has such a low score here. Everyone absolutely raves about this product every where else. I bought it bc of the reviews after needing a miracle for my chapped lips. Dont taste the sunscreen. Very moisturizing. Restored my lips. I could see this becoming a must have for me. What I loved especially was that it isnt too runny. Stays on the lips only

I bought this product to incorporate spf into my routine for my lips. However this product just burns my lips. Also, I know it is supposed to taste like sunscreen but I wish it didn't lol.

Unfortunately this product has made my lips more dry and chapped than when I purchased this. I like this brand normally so I was surprised the chapstick made my lips more dried out.

Needed SPF for my lips but didn't want to splurge & this did what it needed to do. After getting a really bad sunburn on my lips, I used this and it didn't sting/burn. There's no taste either, but you don't buy lip balm to eat it 👍🏽

This lip balm is pretty awesome, especially for the price! Has done my chapped winter lips wonderful for rehydration, preventing further peeling and helping soothe that raw feeling. Doesn't have a heavy, greasy feeling. Has your basic unflavored chapstick taste for those interested in flavor? Not meant for casual tasting, meant for a swipe and let it set and do it's thing.

This left the Absolute worst taste in my mouth to the point I was about to literally puke!!! Definitely did nothing for my lips as far as healing either. Not worth the $$$ in my opinion.

I love this product better then Burt's bees if you suffer from dry lips I'd recommend this product

From chapstick to baby but cream aquaphor dominates in the healing balm field. If you are using anything else you are missing out!!

Living in one of the coldest climates in the lower 48, I'm always searching for a good lip product in the winter and I think I've found it! Not too heavy and greasy and keeps my lips moist for hours! Great product!

It has an appropriate amount of SPF for being outside for a bit, and oddly most lip balms only have like 15spf or so. I don't find that it smells or tastes bad (I've never hated the sunscreen smell though so I might be less sensitive). However, it's not as moisturizing as it could be, I have to reapply it much more often than other lip balms, but it's still good to have on your bag for sun protection on your lips.

Smooth and hydrating spf chapstick. I love how it feels and there is no "weird taste". No smell no taste and prefect for sun protection.

Personally I didn't taste anything when I applied it. It's moisturizing and feels light on my lips.

I've been using this all summer for the sun protection! It applies easily on-the-go and I enjoy the twisty packaging. I find it hydrating and have no issue with taste.

God forbid this gets in your mouth. Terrible. You'd think that a lip balm—which is meant to be around your mouth—wouldn't taste so bad….

this product is so moisturizing- it feels just like i out regular aquaphor on my lips!! and the spf is an added bonus! for me it had no taste whatsoever!

Love love the regular aquaphor in the squeeze tube, and thought I'd give this a try. Had it on for 2 minutes and had to wipe it off, super bitter taste from the sunscreen.

Very hydrating lip balm! I love that it has SPF protection. Unlike the other review I can't taste the SPF. I will repurchase this again when I run out.

A friend recommended this to me. So I gave it a shot. And all I can do is taste the "SPF" within seconds of it hitting my lips. Glides on smooth and hydrates lips… But the taste… I can't get past.
