Olaplex hair care is turning my hair goals into success. I struggled with my hair care up until now. I saw my friend using it and I immediately wanted to try it because it made her hair look so nice and healthy. I use their shampoos and conditioners, their bonding oil, and their hair mask. They have numbers for certain hair goals and it didn't take me long to find the right one for me. On the website they have description on their products and what numbers do the best for you. This can lead you do find the type of hair care your hair needs. I'm a bright blonde so it is tricky to find the right products to keep that color. Olaplex doesn't make my color last any less. So for people who have colored hair and worry about it this is for you. Before the using this line my hair color only lasted about 3 weeks. This is such a fast fade. After using the products my hair has kept up with the color and had lasted longer than 3 weeks. I consistently use their purple shampoo once a week.Other shampoos and conditioners fade my bright blonde hair. This was so frustrating because then I would have to go back for so many more appointments then I needed. Olaplex keeps my hair bright blonde and maintains it. Although they are expensive and come in medium sized bottles I think they are still worth it. The shampoo and conditioner are 30 dollars each. This isn't so bad because you get away with using just little blobs that goes a long way. The shampoo is number 4 and the conditioner is number 5. The next product I use is the number 8 bond intense moisture mask. This mask sits in my damp hair for 10 mins. After that I go back in with my shampoo and conditioner. This makes my hair styleable and has more body. This keeps my hair shiny, smooth, and healthy. This product is also 30 dollars. I think this price might be a little much because it comes in a smaller bottle. But in the end process it is giving you what you are looking for. I usually use this hair mask once a week. I try to use it at the beginning of the week to get it prepped for the week full of styling. The next product I use is the bonding oil. This product is made for dry or wet hair. It is a heat protectant, detangler, enhances shine, and reduces frizz. For me this product met all the criteria. The bonding oil number is 7. The smell of this product is great. I mainly use this product when I get out of the shower to help detangle my hair and keep the frizz away for the morning. This keeps me waking up with my hair staying shiny. I also use it when I'm about to style my hair when it is dry. I only put it on my ends and then I continue to style my hair and apply heat. Now this product is also 30 dollars. I think this one is way overpriced because it is a super tiny container. Especially if you use it every single night. My hair before has been rough. Split ends after split ends, dry hair, and washing it constantly. My hair has always had terrible split ends and it was so hard for me to figure out why. After trying so many different products I finally feel like I found what helps me the most. Since I get my hair dyed and style it so often it does go through a lot of damage. Continuing sports as well makes it hard for me to not wash it as much so it doesn't get as dry. Bur after finding what I needed this is perfect. But overall I think the brand is perfect for people who need this type of hair care. It is also great because their line is made for every hair type, it just depends on the condition of your hair.
My hair is down to my butt and curly and was super soft but I had gotten a gift card to a salon so I figured I would get my hair done and I got highlights for the first time in 3 years. First time ever professionally. So I figured I would buy this to be super careful with my hair because I try to be careful. Things like this make me glad to be poorer but it's also why I'm so upset and don't understand how this isn't happening to everyone like maybe they aren't realizing it? I don't know. I hadn't even died my hair for like the last year. It made my hair so dry feeling and difficult to manage. This stuff made my hair fall out really badly and a couple months prior I had already experienced COVID hair loss so wasn't sure why it would start again but it was absolutely this product. I never knew how difficult it could be to brush my hair. This is disturbing. It's ironic because another product did this to me recently as well Differen (Adapalene) it caused damage to my skin that made it far worse than before which is ironic and really disturbing. I was told it would purge so I thought it was normal but I don't trust that anymore at all. Why this is only happening to some people I have no idea. Just a heads up. This is disturbing. Also the smell is bad like a cleaner. If this isn't meant for brown hair they shouldn't act like it is I'm not sure if that's what it is but I also think people aren't realizing this is causing damage I didn't realize fit for a couple months like I had suspicions and then fully realized 5 months later after I bought it I just really didn't want to believe it but it is absolutely this product. This is just such a joke and it's not okay. Like this isn't cheap stuff. They basically stole money and then made me lose a ton of hair? This stuff has something very wrong going in the ingredients and it's crazy this doesn't happen to everyone it made my hair SO stretchy and literally break off I don't know how people don't realize it like I said if it's not really meant to be used on brown highlighted hair they need to address that. I've lost so much hair. I'm going to do minoxidil that's how thin it is so hopefully it helps and future me thanks me. They say it helps with mechanical damage which is so so ironic. This was so so bad. I don't know what's wrong here but it really is that bad so something went wrong maybe in manufacturing? I'm not sure but it's bad. I'll send the rest of my bottle if they want to test it because this isn't right something went seriously wrong. A lot of people are making TikTok's about it making them lose their hair. My hair line has moved back and pieces broke off from my hairline and my hair is so frizzy because it's so broken off. It feels like I bleached my whole head several several times and I know because I have done before as a teenager and had rebuilt my hair for this to do this to me by just using this conditioner and getting highlights ONE TIME. I hadn't used any bleach like I said in almost four years and hasn't died in over a year. Also I only used the conditioner from the Olaplex line one bottle and it was this bad.

Its good it makes my hair super soft and healthy but i noticed that everytime i used it i lose sooo much hair. I notice the same thing when I use No3 the hair perfector repair— long strands of hair gets pulled out in the shower ans my scalp is already bad as it is. I read about lots of hair loss from other reviews but still wanted to give this a chance bc i thoight it would fix my shedding problems. However, I have less shedding with their shampoo so i think ill repurchase that instead of this.

This product was gifted by Olaplex to me. I am a big fan of olaplex, but this conditioner was made in the same factory as the color purple. the pigment is worthless! if it makes you feel better to own the duo then great, but if you have to pick between this and the shampoo, go with the shampoo.

I use this as part of the system (No. 3-6), and no complaints. I'm not sure it's that much better than other salon quality conditioners I've tried, but I use the rest of the system and this works fine. I've got thick, fine hair with a slight S wave texture, which tends towards frizz, but I've had much less frizz since using this system.

This is a true MUST HAVE product for travel. It meets the TSA liquid oz cap, so it is perfect to take anywhere on the go. Smells incredible and helps my hair keep its style after the first day. I love this product and the travel sized conditioner, too.

I used the shampoo and really liked it and this conditioner made my hair so smooth and shiny! I really want to buy the set but I saw so many reviews with hair loss and don't want to go through that again! I had a horrible experience with OGX and also when I started using Pacifica coconut shampoo and conditioner my hair was falling out in large amounts! I have long thick hair that's so damaged from heat and dying it. using this conditioner one time made my hair so smooth and shiny I would love to buy the large bottles but I don't want my hair falling out in chuncks!

I've used this product over a year. At first I loved it but soon noticed it drying out my hair. My hair stylist started commenting that my hair was thinning. I thought it was thyroid related but my thyroid levels were in range. After switching to another brand of hair shampoo and conditioner I immediately noticed my hair had more volume and little to no shedding. The difference was night and day. I wish I would've changed products sooner. Alot of money wasted on a product that ruined and thinned my hair.

I only use olaplex products for the last 5 years. Only products that ever helped my hair get stronger thicker and longer

Ultimate hydration. Must buy.

Love the product itself as it improves the quality of my blonde dyed hair. Yet the travel size bottle isn't a great one. Bought two of these and both of them spilled the product during the trip in my bag.

My hairstylist recommended I try the Olaplex line. After having COVID my hair changed horribly. It became frizzy and very brittle and started falling out. I've been using this line for a year now and it has made a world of difference on my hair. It has returned my hair's health. It leaves my hair shiny and smooth. My hair doesn't fall out anymore. It doesn't leave it greasy or heavy. Plus, a little goes a long way. It's definitely worth the price! I will continue to use it.

i see a lot of reviews here talking about how healthy their hair was before buying olaplex and their hair being ruined after use. do NOT buy this product if your hair is healthy and what you already use, works. this specfic conditioner and a lot of the line is tailored for damaged hair. i have color treated hair that's splitting and i would say this product helped get my hair back on track. i've definitely noticed a difference in my hair from regular use. but please do your research before buying and make sure this is right for your hair. overall, i recommend. however, if you have long hair, be prepared to purchase pretty often as the bottle is quite small. hope this helps.

Thankfully, I did not experience any of the extreme side-effects as claimed by many one-star reviews, but I also only used the 8.5 oz bottle for about a month. My hair is long, thick, somewhere between wavy and curly, and dry due to my environment. I wash my hair every third day. I can honestly say that this product offered no benefit - no better than any given drug store brand at 1/3 the price. It wasn't necessarily bad, but I won't be buying it again. PROS: didn't leave any immediate residue or buildup; didn't dramatically dry out my hair; didn't agitate my sensitive skin or scalp; functioned just "meh" as a conditioner. CONS: smells kinda weird - not bad, not pleasant either; doesn't keep my hair hydrated - my scalp is oily again after the first day, like a cheap drug store brand; bad value for the price; might be responsible for the slight headaches I've been experiencing after wash day (just a suspicion). Overall, not impressed. I would not recommend it as a hydrating conditioner.

Y'all, RUN don't walk to Ulta to buy this conditioner. I have always struggled with my hair. It's dry, frizzy, yet my scalp and roots are oily and flakey. Olaplex is the only brand that treats ALL of these issues. My hair is 90% less frizzy now.

Ive used No. 4 and No. 5 since 2021 when i started dying my hair fashion colors (stylist recommended it). I have very thick, very fine hair that was bleached and colored every 12 weeks for a 2-year period. This conditioner has been amazing for my hair! Even though it's been heavily processed, my hair feels soft, doesnt feel brittle or fried, and looks shiny after each wash. Ive trained my hair to where I only wash it once-twice a week, and this shampoo/conditioner combo keeps my hair from getting greasy until about 5 days out (which with my thick hair, that's UNHEARD of). Seriously, I never would've tried Olaplex had my stylist not recommended it, and now I will happily splurge on it.

I have naturally curly thick frizzy hair. This shampoo and conditioner combo made it so hard to untangle without loosing lots of hair. 2nd day hair felt horrible, like if I would have used hair spray when I dont wear any hard products on my hair. Do not recommend

I have thick, naturally straight, strong hair. I have the type of hair that strangers compliment. Olaplex ruined that hair. After using it, my hair started drying out. I thought it was the winter cold. I thought it might be motherhood. I never thought it was my shampoo and conditioner. After two months and losing eight inches of hair, I bought some cheap stuff at the grocery store and immediately noticed a difference. It's been a year and a half, and my hair is just now feeling recovered—even though it's way way shorter than it was.

Using olaplex is the worst decision i have ever made for my hair. Something that is supposedly used to strengthen bonds has totally destroyed my thick and previously healthy blonde hair.
