It's affordability, sustainable packaging, quality ingredients and accessibility make it a top contender. I was able to pick this up in stores and I don't really have anywhere near me to get clean, eco friendly products like this. When it comes to the performance that's where this fell a bit flat for me. It wasn't particularly hydrating. I have very thick/dense and coarse curly hair. I had to use a little more than I would with an Olaplex, Briogeo or other similar products. My hair didn't feel nourished or hydrated but it is definitely more soft than if I had just used shampoo. However, if you're looking for a very hydrating shampoo and you have dense/curly hair this may not be for you. Love the fresh clean scent and the overall ethics behind this brand. I'll be on the lookout for more of their products to try.Most Helpful Critical ReviewMassive DandruffI tried very hard to like this conditioner. When I first began using it, I noticed that my hair seemed dryer than before, but I tried to brush it off as I adjusted to using a new product. As time went on I noticed I was getting a lot of build up and dandruff on my scalp. I've had issues with dandruff before so I didn't think much of it. However, as I continued using the conditioner, I noticed I was getting huge flakes of dandruff coming off my scalp that I had never had before. It took me a while to realize it may have been the conditioner causing it, and once I had the thought I immediately stopped and went back to my old conditioner. Within days of stopping the usage of this conditioner, I noticed my scalp was getting healthier again and my dandruff was resolving itself. Since I stopped using this product I haven't had an issues with dandruff. It only takes 60 seconds for it to give my hair enough moisture to make it soft and bouncy again. I don't have to leave it in for like 15-30 minutes to get a decent amount of softness back. I love that the cartons are better for the planet (and they hold up in the shower just fine!). The fragrance is amazing and smells fresh and clean.
