I've tried a few other similar liquid eyeshadows from Stila and Dynessa Myricks, so I didn't have high expectations but the colors were beautiful and these were half the price so I thought I would give them a try. I'm so glad I did. The other brands had beautiful pigmented colors but the formulas were much heavier than thicker. They were harder to evenly blend with a brush, but I was okay with that because the colors were so beautiful. However, the thing that kept me from going back to those other brands was that they would always irritate my eyes. I could feel the eyeshadows sitting on my eyelids, which was very uncomfortable. They would also break up on the kids after a few hours of wear. This duo chrome liquid eyeshadow formula from Juvia's Place is light weight and blends easily and evenly with a synthetic bristle brush. It stayed on my lids for a long time (I have to wear an eyeshadow primer because I have oily eyelids, but that's standard for me). Mostly importantly, I cannot feel anything irritating my eyes. In fact, I can't feel anything at all. I cannot wear it on my lid. I have found a use for it as an inner corner highlight or to line a cut crease. The color is simply beautiful, it's pigmented, but the formula needs work. The way the colors smoothly shift from one color to another is mesmerizing. Unfortunately, I would only recommend using this product for a photo shoot/ brief amount of time.
