I kept wondering why the product was meant to be applied right at the lashline while simultaneously having a warning label to NOT get it in your eyes. Needless to say, I had to rinse my eyes out a lot at first. However, you eventually get used to the application and it gets much easier. For this product, A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY. I applied one dip for both eyes every night for 6 weeks. It really helps to set an alarm to do it in the evening. However, it's not a good idea to do it right before bed. I usually apply it just before I brush my teeth to give the serum adequate time to dry before sleeping. If you close your eyes before it's dry, I find it gets into the eyes more easily. Although the growth was slow and the changes were subtle, I do notice a slight difference. My lashes are a little bit longer, but definitely a lot denser with more lift (very obvious on the top layer closest to the lid). I also feel like I'm getting better mascara application. I do believe that my lashes are stronger and healthier, because I used to pull out a lot of lashes during makeup removal, but this has significantly improved since using the lash serum. I plan on continuing until it's done! If I keep noticing improvements, I will likely buy another one.Most Helpful Critical ReviewStronger lashesUsually lash serums leave my lashes sticky and have a horrible smell. This one did not feel oily, sticky and did not smell which is a huge plus. I didn't even feel it in after I applied. To start with my lashes are extremely short and very thin, I did not see a huge difference in the length but they were much stronger and softer. I didn't find my lashes falling out everyday which is a big plus. I wish the length of them increased more as I can't see a difference in the length but I think I need to be more consistent and use it for a longer period of time before I see if a noticeable difference. I put it to the test for the last 6 weeks. I can attest my natural lashes feel much more full, the strands are longer, and less fallout when using mascara. The bottom lashes grew out longer too. It took a week to actually notice results and application took some getting use to without getting product in the eyes. The trick is to start in the middle and slowly dragging the product from side to side on the lash line to avoid getting product in the eye. I noticed this immediately and set to Ulta to purchase GrandeLash to restore them, but I found this product next to it. I immediately noticed that it's 20$ cheaper than GrandeLash. I compared the ingredients of the two products, which are almost identical. I think this one had less ingredients if I'm not mistaken. I decided to try this due to the comparisons, cause why pay more for the same product? I've used GrandeLash before. Don't get me wrong, it's a great product, but the Velour has blown. my. mind. It worked faster, my lashes are much thicker, they are so much longer, and they're more moisturized than ever! I have also noticed the change of integrity in my eyelashes.
