I paid much more for top name brands and this got me glowing in one night! Product says 2 to 6 drops per how dark you want to be of course I just did the maximum of 6 and the next morning my face matched my body! The other expensive product I have did not do this...there is a slight scent but it's not bad ..I really don't care too much about that but do not care for smells that are way over powering as I know many people may be sensitive to this...I mixed it with a moisturizer too which is nice if you want to do both steps in one but honestly I like to do this ..let dry then do your p.m face moisturizer...I did all my other steps before this product i.e. serums oil etc...then tan drops...then let dry very important then my creams...works Great for me...size will last forever.....I can't give any tips for body but would imagine it works great as well ..just wash your hands well of course after application....Most Helpful Critical ReviewFeels great on my skin however there was no change in colorI tried this as a complimentary gift and first just let me say the drops smells phenomenal when you first put them on. After a few hours you do get that self tan smell but not as terrible as some others I have tried. My skin does feel great after applying but I didn't really see a change in color. I chose to apply the drops to my moisturizer on my face and directly to my skin on my right leg. You can barely even tell I put anything on my right leg and nothing on my left. However, as I said before, my skin does feel great! I know the drops are made with quality products to enhance your skin and that shows in the drops but I don't see much of a difference in color unfortunately. I will continue using the drops for now to see if it really does reduce redness. I wanted a natural looking self tanner specifically for my face and this is the best thing I've found. I've used a variety of the st tropez body self tanner and really like them but they never looked natural on my face and usually have a stronger odor. This one does have a low odor -still has a faint self tanner smell but not overpowering. I like to mix it with serum or moisturizer for the most natural look. The consistency is good, it feels almost like a serum but when mixed with my other products it feels less sticky. I haven't had an "orangey" tone with this one like some others have. My skin is olive and I do tan naturally easily but I try to keep my face out of the sun as much as possible. Because of that my face is usually lighter than my body. I don't like to wear a ton of makeup in the summer so this product allows me to match my face to my tan body without so i can avoid trying to match with foundation. It's not streaky or splotchy at all. I range from very pale in the winter to a natural medium tan in the summer, and have neutral undertones. This gave me a very natural color that looked exactly like I spent a day outside, minus the sun damage. The only downside is that you have to use a good amount of drops to see a difference if you're using it to tan your entire body. I mix this with hempz moisturizer, and use 8-12 drops to six pumps of lotion for legs, and repeat for my arms/upper body. On my face, I'm able to get away with 2-4 drops mixed with serum. I'm not sure it's the most cost effective self tan for body for the amount of drops you need to use, but I like it for my face. It does have a scent, although I wouldn't say it's very strong. It reminds me a little of Jergen's daily glow, but slightly more sophisticated and it doesn't linger in the same way. My main concern is to hide all the ugly damage I did as a teen in the 1980's. So I want an even and fairly dark color. I've used this twice now and I can tell you it is the real deal. You can use it as just the drops straight out of the bottle or you can mix it with a moisturizer. On my arms I used six drops and on my legs are used four. Amazing natural dark results with no orange whatsoever. Plus it hides the pigmentation and spottiness from my damage. My skin looks smooth. I received a free sample of this serum and decided to give it a try. My face is VERY sensitive to any product changes, so I used 2 drops with my nighttime moisturizer one night...and waited to see if my skin would have any allergic reaction. The next morning I had a slight, warm tone on my face which was PERFECT (for me) and my skin did not react at all (shockingly). As I said, I am fair skinned and any color I my have on my arms is from incidental sun exposure (so I do not look tan, I just don't look "scary pale"). Just 2 to 3 drops of this serum in my nighttime routine a few days a week is all I need to give my face a slight tan and allows me to minimize my tinted facial products.
