I can see where it's more unisex, though I think it's sweeter than most fragrances labeled as such. I think the cardamom gives it an almost green, woody quality, which is unique in my collection. It's really different to anything I own and usually go for (I admit, I like either a strong fragrance, like YSL Black Opium, or something more juvenile, like the Juicy Couture scents, or Pink Sugar. This isn't like any of those.)
