I've tried a bunch of SuperGoop products now, trying to crack the code of how to add in regular sunscreen use alongside all my other skincare and makeup products. In particular, reapplying sunscreen on days I'm wearing a full face has been a challenge. And . . . this product USUALLY works the way it claims: if I shake it really, really, really well, and mist it all over my face, it generally dries without disturbing my makeup; I'd say it works right maybe 75-80% of the time. The rest of the time, it messes with the finish of my foundation. Not terribly, and since I'm not out in the sun a lot, most of the time when I use it it's late in the day (for example: I'm going for a walk when I get home from work), so it's fine. But if I were going to an outdoor party or somewhere I really wanted to look good, I'd hesitate before using it. So it's not perfect, but for me it's the best SuperGoop product I've found: I have moderately dry skin and the resetting powder is just too drying/cakey. I also really enjoy the smell.
I got the 1oz version of (Re)setting as a gift at SXSW reg lounge a couple of months ago and finally used it yesterday for the first time and OH MY. I am thankful that they were gifting there, but feel I need to share my experience with this product in hopes of helping someone avoid what I'm now going through (on a holiday weekend when I should be on the beach instead of hiding in bed). My face and neck have been on fire and red exactly where I sprayed it, followed by swelling so bad I couldn't even see my eye balls. I spent most of last night not being able to sleep because of the intense itch and swelling.. still really swollen and super itchy/red now, almost 24 hours after application, even after taking max dose of antihistamines. Came here to see if others had similar reactions and apparently it's a thing with this product, since it's the only new product I used in the last two days. Really disappointed, as I thought Supergoop was supposed to be a high end hypoallergenic product. I don't get rashes easily - in fact, I only had one in my 30+ years that I can remember from a reformulated product, but never with swelling like this. I have fairly "normal" combo skin and loved the idea of a spray nature of this product for resetting over makeup, but buyer beware! My rash started setting in about 7 hours after first applying, so if you decide to get this, maybe patch test somewhere and wait a full 24 hours to see if you get a reaction.

Wanted to love this. So greasy on my face! My make up ran down my face. All i wanted to do was wash my face squeeky clean when I got home after using this. And the places where I got it on my hair were a sticky sticky mess.

I've used other supergoop products and have been very happy with them. So I didnt think twice about buying this. Im so disappointed. I used it once and it made my eyes a face burn for hours. It also sprays super weird. Its the only thing I've ever returned to ulta.

I would love to know how this works but I could not get even one spray out of the pump.

No idea if this product works or not because I cant get it out of the spray bottle. Completely nonfunctional. Total waste of money.

Sadly got this without ready reviews because I normally love everything form this brand. Except this. It burned my eyes so bad and I was out hiking, it ruined my entire hike. I was tearing up and had a stuffy nose the entire time due to a reaction caused by this mist. Never again so tossed it in the trash.

Prays heavy, stinks, leaves dots on your face on occasional sprays. Not a fan

i unforch didnt read the reviews. my bottle also broke after one pump. the one pump i got was good, but the spray immediately broke and i couldnt use it. the product is unscented though, so if you get a bottle that works, itll be a wonderful sunscreen. i didnt even bother trying to swap it for a pump that does work because of the number of other people saying theirs is broken too. i just returned it and got a different brand of the same product.

For as expensive as this product is, I would think the sprayer would actually work, but it didn't which was disappointing.

I can't really tell if I'm getting good sunscreen coverage or not because the spray nozzle is so bad. You maybe get one good spray in, and then it won't pump anymore and the nozzle gets stuck.

Worst beauty product I've ever bought. Most uneven spray I've experienced. Shoots straight into one area on your face only, super oily. No matter how much you shake it, clean it, or anything, it is horrible.

So excited to get this home. Been looking for something with spf to put over my makeup. The pump doesn't work, no matter what I try it doesn't work. Big huge disappointment. This is going back!

I wanted to love this so bad! I've been on the hunt for an easy face spray to re-up my SPF through the day over my makeup. I've tried the Ulta brand one and some others. Honestly the biggest problem with this is that you can't even get any to come out! As soon as you press the sprayer, like 3 droplets come shooting straight out (not as a mist, like dots of product that fly out onto your face and leave a visible wet circle). Then the spray tip gets stuck down, so it never comes back up to try and spray it again. I struggled trying to get the mister tip to pop back up to try and spray again, the same thing just happens over and over. Push it down, sprays droplets on your face, gets stuck. In the event that you can get any to come out as a spray, the spray is still inconsistent like droplets and the product is greasy. I know it's sunscreen, I was expecting it to be dewy, but this is more like a watery face oil. I ended up having to screw the top off and just dump some in my hand, but that totally defeats the purpose. If the sprayer worked I could look past the greasiness for the convenience of spray face sunscreen, but this is just bad for $30+. I might still try to put this in a different bottle to see if I can use it that way so I dont waste it, but if you haven't already bought it, dont waste the money. :(

I was so excited to try this because im very fair skinned and i always wear makeup but i tried this with no makeup one day and hated it!! It felt so geavy and oily on my face i wanted to wash my face all day! It also sprayed so unevenly i cant imagine how annoying that wouldve been if i had worn makeup!! Im so happy i didnt waste my time trying this over makeup because i cant imagine how terrible my makeup wouldve looked and felt had i tried this with it! Dont waste your money on this when elf has a dupe for this that ive heard is way better!!

After using this spare my skin was burned AND I had a reaction that also cause my skin to completely swell as if I was having an allergic reaction.

You have to keep pulling the nozzle up after a couple sprays, it's not really a fine mist it's a bit oily and sprays on a bit blotchy sometimes, also it leaves little white hard crystals on your face, and leaves white droplets on your face Peach fuzz

Awful when you get sweaty and hot!! It gets into your eyes and burns. Burns so bad that you cant open your eyes.

This sunscreen spray is the worst. It makes you oily and sticky, burns your eyes, and does not spray evenly. I couldn't even force myself to finish the bottle it burned my eyes way too bad

I was so excited years ago when this product first came out. I realized that the spray did not apply evenly and there is a sticky film that is left on skin and clothing. Fast forward several years later and they still have not fixed this issue. I love Supergoop, but will be finding another setting mist.

If I could give this negative stars I would. This product is terrible! It sprays unevenly and is super greasy and heavy on the skin. I could see it sitting on top of every single little hair on my face. It melted my makeup off as well which defeats the purpose. It has a very strong minty scent and burned my eyes. I had to wash my face immediately after using because of this. Not a single good thing about this product.
Sarah from WI
This does not mist. Just streamline shoots the product right between your eyes.
Finn from Charlotte, NC
I can't even tell if I like this product because the spray nozzle doesnt even distribute the product on my face even! Do not recommend.
Ava from buffalo
I cant even comment on the quality of this product because my spray nozzle didnt work and i couldnt get product out

A new staple in my purse!! I've always struggled with how to apply my sunscreen over a full face of makeup without messing it up. This let's me re-apply while also resetting my makeup at the same time. Obsessed!
Estela from Round Rock, TX
I wish there was a constant mist to spray the product evenly. The spray pump gets clogged and it is hard to get an even spray out of the bottle. Additionally, the product stings my skin.
