In short, during the last two years I've realized I get hormonal acne around my jawline, t-zone, and sometimes my cheeks. I was using pure salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide to maintain my skin, but I wasn't moisturizing and I knew I should be moisturizing - as getting ahead of aging instead of getting on top of aging is the way to go…but, every time I would moisturize I would breakout. So it was constant going back and forth with drying my skin out and moisturizing it. This stuff does it ALL. Well, not all - but *after* I wash my face with Carbon Theory's Charcoal and Tea Tree oil cleansing wash, Mad Hippie's brightening kit is all I need. By the way, totally recommend that face wash I just mentioned, too. If only they had a bundle with that as well. Alas, they don't. Anyway. The Vitamin C serum almost instantly soaks into your skin and within a day it's a noticeable difference paired with the moisturizer and trust me, the moisturizer doesn't leave you feeling oily, it soaks right in, and most of all doesn't make me break out. Sure, I still get a few pimples here and there but who doesn't? The AHA exfoliating peel (glycolic acid) may sting a bit on freshly popped pimples but other than that - not much of anything…the AHA exfoliating peel works exceptionally well - literally overnight. Wait 10 minutes to apply Vit C serum and moisturizer after you've applied the AHA peel. My skin looks amazing. Worth every penny. TLDR; get this. It's amazing stuff. The combo together, I can tell a difference on my face already. I am over 40 have VERY oily skin and this doesnt leave my skin overly oily compared to other products I have tried. I dont think you can go wrong picking this up to try!
