So I stumbled across this product while looking for a replacement for Dermalogica Sheer Tint which I can't seem to find anymore. While this is completely different, I have been enjoying it for the last week and a half. I can't feel it on my skin. Very natural looking. I use it over the Beekman Milk Perfector Primer and set it with the Urban Decay Waterproof Setting Powder (compact version). It lasts all day. I have oily skin, it stays under control all day. I don't find it settling in lines or pores. I find it easier to apply with fingers and one pump does my entire face and down my neck a little bit. The only con which isn't huge for me since I was able to make it work are the shades. I have light medium skin this time of year which is more on the darker side of light and lightest side of medium. I have never had luck with Tarte shades as they typically run more on the orangey side. However, after playing in the store, I purchased light neutral. I have never purchased light in any type of face product. After setting with the Urban Decay Setting Powder, it warms up a bit to work with my tone. If I continue to use this thru summer I'll have to return to store to play some more for a deeper shade.
I saw this when I was in Ulta for a salon appointment and decided to give it a try. There is a wide range of shades but I still couldn't find one that was quite right for me. The closest was light-medium neutral but I really need a cooler shade and I didn't see anything in the light-medium range that was for cool skin tones. It claims to be a matte finish but I would say it's more of a natural finish. It also claims to be transfer-proof which I did not find to be true. I was transferring product well before lunch time. I did like that this product had a light feeling on the skin. I actually started with a really light layer and then decided I wanted a bit more coverage. My skin didn't feel like I had caked on the makeup and still felt like I had a light layer. It didn't settle into any fine lines or crease at all. If I could find the right shade for me (cooler tone) I would probably purchase this again. But since the color range, though pretty good, doesn't work for me, I'll have to keep searching.

To greasy for the cost

I use this on an everyday makeup look. It is sheer but it covers redness. I don't like to feel heavy

I ordered 35N Medium Neutral because they did not have a 35C. This is not neutral at all. It is very gold and is patchy and just does not look good at all. It looks like I did something wrong.

It's good I like the product

I needed an everyday product that didn't break my skin out, is light, and contains SPF. This one checks all the boxes and wears well! For special events I'll still do a heavier product, but this is great for normal day to day.

I am always excited to try products that combine different steps of my skincare routine. I have had good experiences with Tarte, but this one is a miss for me. It works great as a light foundation to build coverage without caking, and blends smoothly into your skin. As the description indicates, it is VERY hydrating. But if you have oily skin like mine, it means that it'll make your skin oily and shiny and lose the matte effect. I also have uneven texture, dark spots, and redness. The product didn't do much for me in that regard because the coverage is so light. As the title says, it's not bad, just not right for my skin.

Love this product I am on my second tube It gives my nice coverage without looking like I am even wearing makeup. Blends well on my dark spots too!

I really wasn't looking for a new foundation. I've been using IT CC Cream and was happy with it. But I noticed a woman trying a foundation, and I really liked the look. After she was finished, I had a sales associate. Try the same product on me, and I loved it! The foundation is light, but good coverage. Definitely a fan and will be buying it again.

If you want a lighter foundation or want to feel like you're wearing little to no foundation at all, this is a foundation for you. I like this foundation so much because it goes on very easily and is buildable! 10 out of 10 would recommend 💜

I love the original BB cream however I was looking for something similar but with a warm undertone (BB cream is neutral). It was a big disappointment for my combo/oily skin: it has a lighter coverage, sits on top of the skin, so it's difficult to blend and transfers/moves easily, and the T-zone gets oily after a couple of hours even if you set the face and blotting only helps for 1 hour. Probably it's a good option for normal to dry skin but I won't repurchase.

I love Tarte's other foundations (Face Tape is my fave) and their BB cream, so I thought I'd give this one a try for days I want less coverage. This CC cream really does nothing great for me. I find it hard to blend with both a brush and a sponge and it really does nothing to even it my skintone. I'm trying to get through the bottle, but I have to mix it with a couple drops of other foundations to get anything out of it.

Their amazonian clay stuff performed poorly on me, the one brush I got broke, the shape tape situation is far too heavy and full coverage for my style. I'm actually shocked I even bought this as I try to stick to luxury complexion. But for some reason, bored in an ulta, I picked it up. I loved this from the first moment I got it. I kept looking for flaws since tarte has never made anything I've been impressed with, but found none. I have super dry skin, but sometimes radiant or hydrating products just feel like they sit on top like an oil slick and won't dry down, this gave me a satin almost matte look that didn't crease or look drying. I even took it to a wedding and got tons of compliments on my makeup. I put it back on the shelf when I got a new high end foundation, and hadn't gone back to it cause again, I just don't think that highly of tarte and almost gaslit myself into thinking it wasn't that great. I recently took it on vacation, thinking it could be my zoom makeup for work. I don't like wasting my high end product on zoom calls so I usually just throw on something light and cheap to even out skin tone and call it a day. But I can't stop staring at my own face. I layered this over a basic moisturizer and some flawless filter and it looks so good I basically want to leave the house just so the world can see how good my foundation looks. Anyway I felt like I had to give it a good review.

I love Tarte products. I've been using their Shape Tape for years, and have recently been obsessed with their tinted BB cream. I was hoping to find something with a little more coverage, so I purchased the Cloud Tape. Prior to buying this product, I made the mistake of not reading the reviews. I've had acne for the last 6 years, and have always struggled with really dry and sensitive skin. I assumed that because Tarte products hadn't broke me out before, that this wouldn't be any different. Much to my regret, it left me with a rash all over my face. After going back and reading the reviews, it appears that it's not just me with this reaction. My skin hasn't looked this bad in years, and really set me back. I really don't recommend.

Honestly this is not a cc cream. It's too thick and makes your skin look Cakey and weird

The texture of the product is great, but it is difficult to get out of the tube!

I really loved this product but started breaking out badly after using it for a week. One of the ingredients is castor oil. Oil causes clogged pores and breakouts. I'm totally bummed because I loved the coverage.

I think I'm in between shades and right now I have the lighter shade- so I look a bit pale when I wear this because it really does have great coverage. It's ok since it's winter I can just wear blush etc but by the summer I'll need to get the darker shade to mix- and I almost returned this because I wasn't sure I liked it but I tried a much more expensive "luxury" product that gave me a horrible allergic reaction and went back to this, and my skin has been fine. I think it's worth a try, and I have very sensitive skin. It needs to be blended in my opinion, with a damp beauty blender sponge. And you can add more layers if doing that removes too much of the coverage… but that helps it look more natural on me.

Best foundation I have ever used. Celiac friendly.

I like it but it isn't rangers proof at all. My button up collar rubbed against my chin and it transferred and got on my tall friends shirt when we hugged.
Vanessa from New Hampshire
I love this foundation! it's lightweight and buildable which i was looking for. it blends so easily and melts right into my skin and doesn't get caleb!
