Ordinary dandruff shampoos worked only for few days but the problem persisted. I came across Kitsch when I was looking for an all natural vegan shampoo bar and decided to give it a try. Shipping to Singapore takes awhile but It was the best decision ever! When i started using it, even after the first use, the itching stopped. Dandruffs lessen after a few times of using it. Even my husband is using it for his itchy scalp and agrees that it works! My hair texture is fine. Previously it used to be limp with oily scalp and dry ends. After using this, it is now airy and voluminous! Love it! Now I alternate this clarifying shampoo with the rice shampoo for maintenance. I subscribe it so that I will always have it in my toiletries stock. Best to purchase the shampoo bag too because it helps the bar to foam up. What I usually do is to wet the bar first under running warm water and rub the bag vigorously in my palms and apply the foam onto my scalp. Just massage your scalp as per normal when shampooing. You can also rub the foamy bag directly onto your scalp. I bought 3 bags. 2 for different types of shampoo bars and 1 for the conditioner bar. Make sure to hang the bars to dry after use. This bar of shampoo lasted around 4 months (I used it like 2-3 times a week).Most Helpful Critical ReviewSome nice features but over-all disappointedI ordered the clarifying shampoo bar, the Rice shampoo&conditioner bars, and the bond repair bar. I had high hopes, I'm not new to using bar shampoo or conditioner. Unfortunately the negatives outweighed the positives. My 2 teen daughters & I have been using those items for well over a month....I really wanted to like these. First though, these don't lather well at all for us. I've been very confused by that.....have never had that happen with a bar s/c. As for "painting" or running the bar down the hair....again a fail. The bonding bar has probably been what's worked best. The rice & clarify shampoo bars aren't horrible, but without it lathering you end up using way more than should be needed. Which makes me feel like I just washed $$$ down the drain. In the end they didn't give us any true difference in notable hair quality. I so wanted this to be something I loved, but I won't be purchasing again and feel like I wasted my money. I don't like to write reviews like this, but I want to be honest. I will say the smell is lovely, and if it lathered right then the bars would be good value for their size. Having to work hard to get a lather obviously meant it didn't stay that size for long. The packaging is also pretty, and shipping was okay. Only one of my daughters has a bit of hair growth from use, I did not nor did my other teen. But, that growth is super frizzy & her hair continued to be oily. For my other teen the bonding bar was the best out of the order. She has long, thicker hair. My hair is a normal thickness with thinning areas on the sides (hormonal) this bar cleans my hair and leaves it light and soft. My daughter has extremely thick coarse hair and she has a bit of trouble with the bar soaps, getting to her scalp is difficult and rinsing the conditioners is extremely hard. She is liking the Tea Tree & mint over the Rice water & Castor oil bars because it seem to rinse out better and doesn't leave a greasy stickiness. I have been using these 100% of the time to wash my hair and the results are fantastic. The shampoo bar lathers well with the mesh pocket and hangs to dry without getting goopy.
