This sunblock saved my skin in Maui! I am fair skinned, I sunburn, I avoid the beach without an umbrella on hand. However, when I recently went to Maui, I wanted to be free...free as the sand and free as everyone else around me. So I slathered on this creamy sunblock (which is reef-safe by the way!) and ran wildly into the ocean. It is not greasy, it soaked into my skin easily. Swam for a long while, sat for a shorter while and packed up with no sunburn in sight. My skin was thankful. I am thankful. Will always use this brand and this mineral sunblock. Thanks for creating it for the ones who crave the sun and not the burn.
Reviewing this as a face sunscreen! I had such high hopes for this sunscreen because of all the instagram ads I kept seeing about it leaving no white cast and it's "clean" ingredients. For context, I have sensitive skin that's very reactive to fragrance and essential oils. I also have normal to dry skin that is very acne prone. And I also have eczema :) Needless to say, my skin has very high standards. When I initially put this on the first thing that struck me was how oily it was. Given that squalane is the third ingredient I was sort of expecting this but, still, it was pretty greasy. It went on pretty easily and didn't have to be worked in too much I also didn't notice too much balling up around the hair line, but there were some parts that I had to use a tapping motion to blend in, particularly between my eyebrows, around my nose, and a bit around my mouth. I also think that's why the ads showed that it was so easy to blend into the skin because of how oily the formulation is. So if you have oily skin, you will probably hate this. But if you have dry skin, you may like this formula. Let's talk about the white cast. It's not the worst, but, given the amount of sunscreen you're actually supposed to use, it will leave a slight cast. I have olive to tan skin, so it's not super noticable on me, but you can definitely still see it. The ads literally show people using the smallest amount, which is not sufficient sun protection, and that's why there's no cast left on them. Lastly, we need to talk about the reapplication. I am someone that reapplies my sunscreen at least once throughout the day, usually 2-3 hours after my first application. If we didn't have to quarantine I'd probably reapply twice. I was afraid to reapply because of how oily the formula is and thought that the second application would cause pilling. Well, I was right and, even though the balls aren't super big and not that noticable, it did reactivate the pilling in my problem areas (eyebrows, nose, mouth), so I had to do a tapping motion to blend them out. Overall I think this is a good sunscreen for people with dry to very dry skin. It's oily when you put it in but if you have dry skin that tends to drink up everything you put in your face (like me) that goes away and it looks really nice and fresh on. There is a learning curve with application and reapplication, which is why I took off a couple stars, but I would still repurchase for those cold winter months where my skin is really dry.

This sunscreen is cosmetically elegant, hydrating, reef safe (as only inorganic aka "physical" sunscreens truly can be) and great for my sensitive skin! I am pretty pale, so you might get a little white cast if you have much deeper skin, but at this price point (and, frankly, many higher ones) you'd be hard pressed to find a better formula. It's my all-time favorite face sunscreen and I have tried a LOT of them. Doesn't irritate my eyes at all and sits well under makeup as it has no silicones so it won't pill. Really excellent product, please don't ever stop making it!

This sunscreen is amazing! I have used it consistently everyday, and it has worked wonders. I just found the use of using sunscreen everyday, and being that I am a darker skin tone, it does not leave a white/purple cast or anything. It goes in smoothly. All you need is less than a pea size for your entire face.

FINALLY!!! I am so so happy ive found this sunscreen. It has the most minimal white cast and it does not feel heavy on the skin at all, it truly just feels like a lightweight moisturizer. Ive tried out 10+ mineral sunscreens and some of which were $40+ and they cannot compete with this. The fact that its SPF 50 AND you get 4.0 oz IS UNBEATABLE!! SO MUCH PRODUCT FOR SO SO CHEAP!!! I love this so much ill always re purchase

Similar to another reviewer, I used this sunscreen pretty consistently and on 2-3 occasions I noticed my skin got extremely itchy and swollen as if I had a horrible sunburn. Since having these reactions, I will not buy again - such a bummer!

I was using this sunscreen for months and months, and never had a problem with it, but suddenly i seemed to develop an allergy to it. Took me a while to pinpoint the cause of the rash i was getting, but i finally realized it was caused by this problem. I almost scheduled a dermatologist appointment because i thought it was a fungal infection but nope. One day it just clicked. This was a recurrent problem and my skin would turn bumpy and very itchy. The last two times it happened, it took days for the rash to go away and left my skin feeling very dry, rough, and itchy. Before i started having reactions to it, however, here's what i thought of it: it left a white cast on my face and was pretty dang greasy looking, but I just dabbed a dry tissue over my whole face and it would soak up all the grease. Wasnt a huge deal. I wouldve went through the entire bottle had I not started getting these rashes frok it, but definitely wouldnt buy it again.

Spf will spf, the deductions is more so for the company. Why are we still making and packign liquids for to leak as soon as u open it? The year is also 2023 why as a company have we not figuref out to leave out the white casting like every other spf in the market is capable of doing

Great sunscreen ! Got this because it's clean (no chemicals) . Rubs in great compared to other mineral sunscreens . I got it for my toddler but I like using it too bc I don't like the sticky feeling that spray sunscreen gives me .

Milky texture, super soft for their skin and great coverage and durability. Also and more. Love pipettes products and more importantly, their clean ingredients!

Only giving the sunscreen a 4 because it's so much smaller than I thought lol and I haven't gotten to use it yet. However, I'm sure it's worth a 5 star rating because the rest of their products are 5 star!
