I've been having issues with thinning and breakage for a couple of years now and it really does seem like I've tried almost everything. I kept my expectations low but since a lot of friends have used and liked Olaplex I decided that it would be worth it to try and so far it has been. Obviously it can't cure thinning due to stress/genetics but the texture of my hair has approved tenfold since I started using the No 0, 3,4,and5. Since my hair is quite fine and thin I use the bond building treatment and hair perfecter 1-2 times a week for the past month. Honestly I am stunned at the results. Since it's not a permanent fix but a treatment, you do have to continue using it. I did read somewhere that there's no way for it to permanently fix your already damaged hair but it can definitely treat it while the damage grows out. It doesn't weigh my hair down, there's no apparent residue, and it felt healthier and looked healthier after only the first try and has consistently improved since. I've tried so many products that just seem to sit on top of my hair and reflect light instead of actually improving anything texturally. I was also stunned at the quality of the product, not just in effect but a little really does go a long way in each one of my products. It smells and feels amazing. I could clearly go on. I'm just so pleasantly stunned! I had read some very negative reviews and was prepared to just take a chance and I'm thrilled and impressed with the results. It's made me finally feel like I can get my hair back to something I love again. I may just copy and paste this review on the other three products I ordered so if you see it, it's not a fake review, I'm just thrilled and lazy! **Important note for the bond builder: It has also appeared to have improved the strength of my hair, and there is less breakage!
I bought the whole system except for the leave-in conditioner, which they were out of. This product does virtually nothing. The sprayer is the worst and pretty much useless. It directs a single stream of spray down to your scalp which then runs down your scalp and neck and does not disperse through the hair. I had to take the cap off and pour a little in my hand to use it. I think I have another sprayer around, so hopefully I can get that to work. As far as the product goes, I used it alone and in conjunction with the #3 as directed, not saturating hair as directed, and leaving it on for the whole 10 minutes per product. This was totally useless. I noticed zero difference after using this product several times. I have not tried the #3 alone, but don't have much hope it will do anything more than the two products together. Nexxus used to make a preshampoo oil that was amazing. You just put it on the ends, and it repaired and nourished dry, brittle ends in a single use. Sadly, that was discontinued years ago. I had high hopes that this preshampoo treatment would be similar, especially with all the hype, but I have yet to see any benefit, unfortunate because the #0 and #3 together are $56.00 - a lot to spend for nothing. A little olive oil would do a better job.

I have been using olaplex products for the past 3+ months due to my hair breaking. I bought the entire line. I just finished the bottle for 0 and I can say I won't buy again. The nozzle is terrible and shoots a hard steam onto your head. It doesn't distribute the product well. I am really not sure if it made any more of a difference for 3 but I will be trying it alone moving forward. Olaplex needs to work on this product and packaging.

My hair broke off in random sections! First and foremost for those who doubt it, I stopped using it and within a week my hair stopped breaking and I am now in Recovery mode. It was Olaplex. I used only the entire line of olaplex for my hair, and same styling products I always did. I am so mad that I didn't realize it was Olaplex. Just remember, it started out great.. but in about 7-8 months, my hair was breaking all over. Don't let it happen to you!

I've been pairing this with Olaplex 3 and using the combo weekly. My hair is super soft and definitely seems healthier. Deducting 2 stars because the spray top is useless. It "sprays" like a squirt gun instead of spraying. It wastes product and this is wayyyyyy to expensive to waste.

I wish the packaging for this product was practical. It needs a different sprayer. The product comes out in a thin stream and takes forever to apply to the hair. If you have long hair, give yourself a lot of time and expect product waste.

I have kinky textured and thick hair. I used up the bottle in 2 uses following the instructions, slightly using less on my hair due to me noticing how quickly the product was disappearing from the bottle. Those that have thick hair, I dont think this one is worth it, because realistically you'll only get 1.5 uses out of it, but can stretch it out to maybe 2 uses if you just use it on the areas of your that needs it most. Otherwise be prepared to buy 2-3 bottles per month

The actual product inside the bottle is great. The spray is a stream though. Come on Olaplex, this is better than the original packaging, but why not make it perfect by giving us an actual spray and not a stream nozzle.

I have 3B,3C texture hair. I damaged my hair from straighten it a little too much over the past few months. I have always used No. 3 but decided to use No. 0 with No. 3 and it WORKS! My curls came back to life. Definitely recommend to pair with No.3

I've only used twice and have used half a bottle to get the coverage I needed because of the spray nozzle. It's a stream nozzle and does not saturate the hair like it should - half of it goes over my shoulder. So I spray it in my hand. Love the product but a lot gets wasted with its current packaging - but a different spray bottle if you purchase this!

I have unprocessed, fine straight hair. At first this product was great, but after a few uses my hair ended up splitting more than normal. I went to my hairstylist and they agreed, my hair was thinner than usual. Really disappointed.

It's honestly such a great product, you can tell such a difference when you don't use it and when you do!

I purchased the set. I've always had healthy hair but between age and over processing I believe, my hair has become very thin and damaged. This sprayer is a joke. It sprays one hard stream that is impossible to evenly distribute. It ends up running down my head and neck. I've tried pouring it into hands to put on but that doesn't work either as this is like water. It just runs down my hands. I get so annoyed that I've only used a couple of times and because it doesn't spray nicely on hair I've gone Through most of it already. I'd never buy it again. I've noticed no difference with my hair. Not surprised though since it's impossible to get the product in your hair correctly.

I am no stranger to olaplex products. This bond intensifier is great. I leave it on dry hair for half the day then rinse out and shampoo. It's essential

Love it pricey though

The only way I get any results from Olaplex is if I use the 4 treatment pack. Just the shampoo and conditioner alone do nothing for the level of breakage I have. However this No.0 is good for 2 1/2 uses for hair my length. So not worth it for 2 uses.

The og packaging was awful to use if you have a lot of hair. The product inside is amazing, I've tried no. 3 with and without no. 0. My hair felt much softer when using no. 0/no. 3 combo. Would recommend.

I have naturally curly hair but it doesn't take much to interfere with the curl pattern taking it from bouncy curls to frizzy, messy curls. At 54 yo, my natural hair color is part grey and part light brown...is dishwater grey a thing? It's ugly so I keep it hidden under a light brown dye with blonde highlights and pending another pandemic, I will never see their natural ugly color again.(lots of people have gorgeous grey hair, I'm not one of them). In my younger years, my curl pattern was better if I had a little damage in the form of hair blonde highlights but the grey follicles don't feel the same way. When the damage is too much and my hair fails to curl in pretty, bouncy ringlets, I use the No.0 plus No. 3 system and it goes right back to pretty bouncy blonde curls after 1 treatment. I started using the system when my hair was bleached platinum in order to dye it purple, a process that did some serious damage to those grey locks. I used the system two to three times a month or so and it turned some serous damage around in about a month. I can't say enough about it for my hair.

Didn't see any difference after using it. Waste of money.

This product made about half of my hair fall out!! As soon as I stopped using Olaplex my hair stopped falling out. Going back to my natural hair care products.

I love the way it makes my hair look and feel.

I started using no. 0 when they first came out with it, and I do notice a difference when using no.3 alone and using with 0. However, I'm only able to get two uses out of an entire bottle. I can generally get about four uses out of no. 3. My hair is semi long, about to bra level. What I really dislike about this product is the spray nozzle. I feel like SO MUCH product is wasted. I have tried putting it into a mist/spray bottle and I can see why that's not recommended, as it made me cough like crazy. I wish they could figure out something to make application easier.

I really wanted to love this product but from day one it was causing problems! The spray nozzle is completely ineffective as it shoots out straight and not a mist. At that rate, I was going use the entire bottle in one session 😔 I was able to swap that nozzle out in the bathroom luckily but it did not redeem the product. I cannot stop coughing with this one. I've never had a reaction with olapex so it's very surprising! Oh and trust me, I was willing to give up my lungs for beautiful hair, but in my opinion n03 works amazing without it…

For a brand that is very well know and not their products are supposed to be high end you would think they could work out the spray bottle. It sprays in a straight line instead of a mist that actually gets good coverage in your hair.

Waste of money. My hair actually felt dry after using this product. The liquid inside doesn't smell like anything and has consistency of water. Probably all that's in there. Feel dumb wasting so much money on nothing. Even the bottle itself is garbage, product spills out with use. Never again!!

No. 0 and No. 3 work great together to restore moisture to your hair.
