I like the fact that it's a bit thinner so it doesn't look/feel heavy, i set everso lightly under my eyes with a translucent finely milled powder/ quick dust NO bake. The older you get the less you want to wear. The Only issue I have with the concealer is the shade selection. Luckily I'm a beautician and I'm able to eyeball the colors. I mix "Beige & tan" to get a perfect peachy undertone. It helps with darkness without needing to color correct.Most Helpful Critical ReviewA few things I wish were different.There's pros and cons for sure. I have light neutral, olive-leaning skin and got the shade light. I find that it leans more pink than neutral. I really wish it leaned more neutral, so I could use it on other parts of my face in a pinch. On me, this isn't a brightening shade for my under eyes, but it does cancel out some of the darkness a bit (because it leans more pink). The other thing about this concealer is the packaging. I understand that the pump helps to promote the *serum* vibe in this, but would really LOVE a standard doe foot for ease. These are the reasons I won't repurchase, but would recommend to those looking for a relatively affordable lightweight concealer with good coverage and feels silky-soft under the eyes--truly does feel high-end. It's buildable, lightweight, and doesn't tend to crease like other concealers I've tried. It works well with other NYX products if you like their line. I use the vanilla shade even though I have medium, olive skin. I will even use the concealer alone and throw some bronzer on top of it for my daily wear - it blends with other shades so well. I would say go a share darker than you normally would if you are looking for something to match your skin tone. Ive been through multiple $25+ concealers and nothing has come close to this. It looks like skin. I use the maybelline fit me powder with it and zero creases or build up throughout 6+ hours. It gives a natural vibrant finish. Only flaws about this are the pumping type of packaging and the lack of shades. The pump will get the cap messy and due to it you do have to apply to your hand prior to your face. And the lightest shade is my skin tone and im not super pale. Everything else is amazing though!
