I have oily combo, acne prone skin. I was apprehensive to try since I dislike the water gel formula. I have been using this sunscreen for almost 2 month. I have repurchased and plan to continue to do so. One pump covers my whole face, but sometimes use two pumps and it all absorbs into my skin. It does not look or feel greasy. Has not broken me out, pairs well with my skincare routine. I put after my VitC serum every morning. It has stung my eyes before, but resolved that by now massaging the sunscreen all over my face with the exception of my eye area first, than finish up with the little left over smoothing over my eyelids and under eyes. Even with the two pumps, this works. Also I can reply this sunscreen every two hours without it forming a nasty build up. Reapplying goes on just like the first. I have tried many face sunscreen moisturizer and this one has been by far the best and absolute favorite.
I started using the Neutrogena FMT Hydro Boost Blue Opal with the idea in mind that this product was supposed to be a sort of 3-in-1 daytime skincare product. It's got all the items I would use normally in the morning (moisturizer, Hyaluronic Acid, and SPF) in 1 convenient bottle. But I was left feeling underwhelmed. As a moisturizer, it is lacking. My dry skin didn't feel quenched instead I feel like the SPF 50 overpowered the hydrating effects. Don't get me wrong, I love the SPF level and seriously believe everyone should wear it but in combination, it isn't working. The packaging says fragrance-free, which is true. There is no added fragrance but you are left with a sunscreen scent. My thinking, instead of just not using the product I am going to add it to my current skincare routine. I do like the SPF level & how lightweight it feels. There's no greasy residue or white cast. But as a stand-alone product, my skin would not be getting the hydration it so desperately needs.

I wish this product was better and made my skin glow, but I don't see a difference.

I'm always on the hunt for a sunscreen I can wear daily. I've got a lot of sun damage that I'm spending tons of money to eradicate so I'm trying to prevent more damage. I used to wear moisturizer with 15 spf but feel like that's just not enough anymore. I hate zinc oxide products that make my face white and feel heavy. This one goes on pretty greasy but it does sink in and just gives a moisturized look and feel. If you have oily skin, I might not recommend it but my skin is quite dry, especially in the winter. So far, I've spent hours on the beach in the sun and haven't tanned or burnt once while wearing this.

I love this Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer. I like that it has an spf of 50 and that it has hyaluronic acid. Another major amazing this is its fragrance free .

I absolutely love how one pump is all you need for your face, neck and ears. Beyondthe metered part is how awesome it is to have SPF without having that white/gray cast over your face. So many face SPF have that so this is amazing. I don't have issues with grease or heavy feeling either which is a huge win! I use under my make up and also does wonderful.

Product goes on smoothly and doesnt create a visible white tint when out in the sun unlike other products. Expensive for the size of the product.

I cant speak for how well this works or how nice it feels under makeup because before i could even put on my face, a little bit of this migrated into my eye and burned the crap out of it. Then my eyes teared up and more migrated into both eyes blinding me amd causing many many tears. Had to wash it off, remove contacts, rinse out my eyeballs, and still ended up with irritated red eyes for the rest of the day.

This sunscreen has hyaluronic acid in it which is awesome in keeping your skin hydrated. It goes on white, but it soaks into skin fairly quickly and evenly.

This product was just ok. When I first used it in the morning, my face felt moisturized, but it felt like I lost the moisture fairly quickly throughout the day. It is also on the pricey side so I expected longer lasting results. As far as I know, it worked well with sun protection.

I bought because it has spf 50 in it and was hoping that I could cut out a step in my morning routine; however, I really don't like this moisturizer. When I first used it the first I noticed is it smells exactly like sunscreen and the second is it makes my eyes burn really bad. I've tried to not get it near my eyes and it still makes my eyes burn. As someone with combo/oily skin, this takes a while to fully absorb and still has me looking extremely greasy throughout the day. I really wanted to love this but I just can't and I believe it's also breaking me out like crazy.

The product feels nice at first, but it leaves a faint white cast on my deep brown skin. Also, it seems to irritate my eyes. I used Neutrogena Healthy Defense moisturizer with sunscreen before it was discontinued. It was one of few facial moisturizers with sunscreen that did not leave a cast on my dark skin. NEUTROGENA BRING IT BACK.

This moisturizer is a must have for any skincare routine. It leaves me feeling moisturized, but not greasy, and is easy to layer before or after makeup. The sunscreen built in provides great protection and the hyaluronic acid leaves me feeling soft and hydrated all day.

I love all these Neutrogena Hydro Boost. This product in particular is in my everyday rotation for its sunscreen ingredient and highly moisturizing effect!

I was excited about this product until it left my face feeling greasy and super shiny.

When I recently saw that Neutrogena had discontinued Daily Defense SPF moisturizer (why?!?!), which I'd happily used for years, I looked for the next closest product and this was it. After using for a month now, I can say it's a horrible substitute. I don't feel like I bought a moisturizer at all, instead this stuff feels (and smells!!!!) like using a watered-down sunscreen. I've given it a chance to see if it grew on me, but every time I put this on I feel like I'm armoring up for a summer day outside rather than moisturizing my skin. If that's what I wanted, I would buy a facial sunscreen (for less money). I can't get past the feel and the smell, so now looking elsewhere for a worthy successor to Daily Defense.

Cap was loose and came off and it doesn't squirt out well. I love the moisturizer but I can't help be disappointed with the product

Great product! I love that it's a SPF 50 and plumps my skin. It's the only sunblock I use on my face. I hope they never stop making this.

Made me break out & this product was recommended to me for people, like myself, with combination skin

I liked this sunscreen because my skin is on the dryer side. It feels good and lightweight on the skin and leaves a nice glow. The only reason I wont repurchase is it burns my eyes :( Any time I sweat even a little bit it leaves my eyes red and irritated for at least 5 minutes.

Love this product. I have very sensitive skin. I find that when I then add my foundation, it blends smoothly.

One day I ran out out of sunscreen and borrowed my friends which happened to be the Neutrogena Hydro Boost. I absolutely fell in love, not only does it moisture my skin so well it also keeps it well protected. I've been using it ever since.

Love, love, love this!! It has a light feel with moisturizer, no tint and has a higher spf than most. Also affordable and has no fragrance to it. Easy to wear daily!

This product is a pass for me. It says on the bottle that it is not water or sweat proof. So because you cant use this at the pool, beach, or while doing any activity where you might break a sweat, its basically useless for me. I used this before reading the fine print and got a pretty bad sun burn :( will not use again. It also pills really bad. It would definitely ruin any makeup it was used underneath so it would not be good for daily use either.
