The vibrating feature is pretty much useless as my hair generally doesn't kink or pull compared with others. Also this straightener is so bulky and heavy, I can not use it to curl my hair because the grip is to awkward. I have frizzy, long, curly hair that I like to wear straight pretty often, so I'm often using irons. I love the elongated plate on this styling iron, to allow for more hair to be styled at once and I can do my hair faster. There are also heat sensors to allow even heating with every pass through hair. This is the first time I've used a styling iron which vibrates to create tension (like when using a brush to blow out hair more efficiently) and ensure there isn't too much harsh pulling. Some irons tug at hair and I see strands coming out, but this is minimal with this iron. Th is iron helps my hair come out sleek and smooth.
