When I use too much it makes my roots feel very heavy even though it still looked like I had more volume at the roots than without it. In the end I focus this product on the mid and lower parts of my hair so I still get volume but it doesn't feel weighed down. The volume is still good the day after washing and blow drying my hair and even then it doesn't look weighed down but it still feels heavy or greasy. This stuff smells soooo good and the mist comes out very fine and sprays evenly. When I'm initially done blowdrying my hair there is still a lot of frizz but most of it goes away after about 20 minutes. I do notice it drying faster with this product on my hair when I am doing a rough dry but after I put a concentrator nozzle on it seems to take the same amount of passes for my hair to dry. I would probably recommend this item to a friend but I would make sure to go more in-depth about how much I use and how I use it if they also have fine hair.Most Helpful Critical ReviewMade my hair feel sticky and heavy.When I first got Quick Blowout by Redken I couldn't wait to try it. The first thing that I noticed was the wonderful scent. It smells a little fruity and a little woodsy and it harmonized very well. After washing and towel drying my hair, I spritzed my hair lightly with Quick Blowout. I made sure to get from root to tip and combed it through my hair before blow drying. My hair felt okay until I started drying it. My hair started to feel very sticky and it became difficult to get my brush through my hair. It would just tangle and stick. Thinking that I might have used too much, I decided to rewash my hair and try it again only using less spray. Well, the same thing happened. My hair was sticky, tangled, and weighed down. It reminded me of blowdrying hair spray in your hair. I did not notice any time difference in the length of time it took to finish drying. I am not sure if thus product was designed for people with normal hair? But mine is very thin and fine. Quick Blowout isn't right for me. And the only volume I got came from knots and tangles.
