I have used it once or twice already you're supposed to leave it until 1 to 5 minutes depending on desired effect I left it in a while longer than that so that I can achieve the results that I was looking for and if my photo does not grab your attention and make you want to go out and buy the stuff then you need to read some more reviews or try it yourself this product is amazing you need to see the photo attached to see the outcome of my highlights after using this product! I lathered the product into my hair and let it sit for 1-2 minutes. After rinsing + blow drying my hair it has turned grey as if it has been over toned. I was a bit shocked as my other purple shampoos never do this. Yes - it worked well to town down the brassiness but almost too well. I'm not a huge fan of the grey. Aside from this, the product smells nice and lathers up good. My only other complaint is with the way you open the bottle.
