The seabiotic water cream is designed to boost hydration for thirsty skin exposed to pollution and blue light. This product contains 47.3 grams (1.6 oz) and has a watery/salty type of scent. The texture of the cream is kind of fluffy and lightweight but hydrating. Recommended use is to apply to clean skin. Use morning and night. After using, I wasn't certain how well this would work as I have super dry skin but it really does make a difference. It has a very interesting scent, like something from a pool or ocean which I find very refreshing and pleasant, but this could be an issue for some people who are sensitive to scents. It's so lightweight like water and is not sticky or tacky. It's cruelty-free, vegan, and gluten-free. I'd really recommend this to anyone with dry, dehydrated skin as it's so hydrating and soothing on the skin. What I like: this product is unique and very hydrating. It's also nourishing and really lightweight and doesn't have any stickiness or tackiness to it. It has nice ingredients and is really lovely to use at the end of the day and under makeup as it doesn't ball up or anything. It has really nice quality and I believe it'll help the skin long term. What I don't like: the scent is lovely but could irritate some people.
I will start by saying my full face and body routines are overwhelmingly OSEA products and I have loved nearly everything I've tried from this company. I ordered a sampler pack of this and a few other products as I didn't want to commit to a full size container before sampling it. Glad I did. I also chatted with someone on the OSEA team prior to purchasing as I was looking for the most lightweight moisturizer they sold and this was their suggestion. I was surprised upon using it to find it was actually quite heavy and, unfortunately, I had a poor reaction to it: I experienced heavy oiliness and a bad cystic acne breakout. I went over the ingredients again and realized it contains squalane, which sadly a lot of skincare brands are now including in their formulations (because it's trendy?). Squalane is not tolerated well (especially on the face) by many, and I've realized after checking ingredients on products I react poorly to that squalane seems to be the ingredient they all have in common. It also seems to lend to the heaviness a lot of people experience in moisturizers that contain it, even ones claiming to be lightweight. If this were reformulated without squalane I'd give it a second chance. I'd really love to see a super lightweight gel cream/moisturizer from OSEA that doesn't contain squalane! TLDR: this is not a lightweight moisturizer and it contains squalane, which just isn't for me.

Unfortunately, when I use this, it would pill on my face and just come off. I'm very disappointed as it's a very expensive product and it peels off my face. I've been dealing with acne for the longest time and was willing to put in money to make it better and I've heard good things about this brand and love what they stand for but unfortunately their product has no use as it wouldn't rub into my face. I also tried the atmosphere protection cream, and it did the same thing and I am using it in pair with hylauranic sea serum which I think is good so far. I've tried to blemish balm and I love it and has really helped, rubs into the skin nice I will be continuing to use it. I'm just looking for a really good moisturizer and I have not found one yet as these don't rub in to my face. I tried the ocean cleanser as well and while I think it may have helped my acne a little bit, dried out my face and made it very red.

I wrote an email to talk about the smell of this product. The response was that even though there is a smell, it has not lost its efficacy. I tried using it a few more times, but can't get past the odor. I have a second, newer jar that I am currently using because I like the product.

This moisturizer was perfect for my sensitive skin until they changed the formula and added Phenoxyethanol, now I can't use it and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. It started to burn my skin and made me break out, Ive been using this for a while before the change, so I know it's because of the Phenoxyethanol. I hope Osea doesn't add it to all their products it would be very sad.

I really love this product. I know that some feel that the smell isn't something they can get past, but I feel like it is pretty odorless and I love knowing that I'm putting some things so clean on my face. Living in Colorado it's really difficult to feel moisturized, and every month my aesthetician tells me how dry my skin still is. I started using this after my last facial but I can tell the difference, and I'm hoping she can too!

The sea biotic cream ingredients are clean and feel refreshing when I apply it to my face and neck. It is not think and gummy as some are. My skin ansorbs it. I like it. I use it. I am over 60 and my skin is mature but not dry.

Overall I really like this moisturizer. It feels silky and smooth on my skin and a little goes a long way. So far, I'm really happy with the results and how it feels on my skin. I can use it both morning and night, but will rotate my products to meet my needs.

I think it's a nice moisturizer but 1) it wasn't as hydrating as I expected and 2) not a fan of the smell. The texture is tho. While I think it could be someone's solid staple, you could probably find something cheaper

Wanted to love this product as much as I do everything else from Osea… Unfortunately this cream has an odor I can't get past.

Very hydrating and makes my thirsty skin soak it all up! I would've given it 5star review but the scent takes a little getting used to. I usually give it a few seconds on my finger before applying.

Would different recommend. Helped me with my red, dry and irritated skin. Cheeks, noise and chin are my problems areas. Totally see and feel the difference on my second jar. It very light and not thick for my oily pasts (noise)!

Great texture! Feels smooth and silky on my skin and a little goes a long way. It soaks in quickly and never leaves an unpleasant greasy or oily residue. It's hard to believe that something so light can have such a positive impact. My skin loves it and I love the effect!

Love this Moisturizer! The product is soft to the touch & goes on smoothly. Overall it just feels great on your face. There's just something about these products!! I'm a repeat customer & am grateful for this company.

It feels nice and I want to love it but god I can't get past the smell… it smells like actual dog poop too me I can't be the only one who gets that pungent smell. I can't even use it anymore I hate to waste it but my nose is too sensitive to put it near my face.

The product is hydrating but is nothing compared to the Advanced Protection Cream. I won't be purchasing this again. It's not bad but I think the other is much better.

I recently discovered OSEA and I love the products. This is a nice, light weight moisturizer for daily use.

I love the texture of this cream. It absorbs nicely and doesn't sit on top of the skin like some products. I've also tried their Advanced Protection Cream and found it much heavier and less effective. I have dry "maturing" skin and I vacillate between the Seabiotic Water Cream and the Atmosphere Protection Cream, depending on my skin's needs.

I really do love how hydrating, without being overbearing the Seabiotic Water Cream is. I gave it 4 stars only because I do not love the smell. Everything else from Osea smells incredible, but not this. It takes a small amount, which is great. On my décolletage, I've noticed a definite improvement. Even with the scent I do not love, I will continue to use it because it works so well. I use it in the mornings and the Essential Hydrating Oil at night. As a combo, they work well together.

This is a wonderful moisturizer that is lightweight while still offering good hydration. It works well with my sensitive and acne prone skin. It layers well over serums and doesn't pill under sunscreen or makeup. It's a great "go to"!

This is the best moisturizer I have ever used. It is light yet hydrating with zero oily feel to it. Make up always goes on smoothly after use and my face always looks calm, no redness or surface reaction visible. I love that it delivers everything needed without having to worry about how it wears whether alone or with makeup. I look radiant either way. Thank you!

I've been using this moisturizer since they released it and I'm obsessed!! It's so lightweight yet moisturizing at the same time. I never feel like my skin is dry anymore but it doesn't feel heavy or greasy at all, unlike some other moisturizers I've tried. Highly recommend!!

Love this lightweight moisturizer. Has helps keep blemishes away.

I love this product and I'm very happy with the way my skin looks. I didn't notice any drastic changes or huge benefits that warrant the price. It is a very good, standard everyday moisturizer. I have used other very good standard everyday moisturizers that are not as expensive.

I love this cream and actually use it as my night cream, alternating with the atmosphere protection cream during the day. It always makes my skin feel soft and hydrated without breakouts.

I have dry, sensitive, mature skin. This cream didn't irritate my skin and wore well under makeup. I prefer the Atmosphere Protection Cream, as I need a bit more moisture.
