It does create a lather and cleanse. The vibration , while nice to have a mini facial massage, for me didn't eliminate the need to move in circular motion for extra scrub. It's light in terms of weight and is great for sensitive skin especially with the soft silicon bristles. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend simply because I would personally prefer a larger surfaced item to clean my face with a little more pressure in scrubbing and felt that the vibration wasn't necessary. It works very similarly to a similar device I also own but is smaller. However, I love how the entire surface area of this one consists of the cleansing bristles. The contoured backside makes for easy handling. It is much more convenient to hold and maneuver around the face than more expensive competitors. It's perfect to take with you on the go to the gym or when traveling. I like the fact that it is disposable. I feel like other models get dirty over time, and I become reluctant to use them.
