I now work outdoors and have had to change my make up routine to accommodate globs of sunscreen on my already oily face. I needed something that would look like my skin and blend well, as well as fade evenly into the day (as opposed to patches of make up either coming off or pooling into creases). So far, cream blushes have worked to give my face a healthy flush as well as work as eyeshadow. The Anastasia BH Cream Bronzer is what i just need to give myself a little contour without all the fuss. I received the shade Amber and i currently have light-medium skin, neutral undertones. It's a tad too orange for me but still workable and it blends really well on top of my sunscreen and concealer (no foundation), giving me a sun-kissed healthy look. I haven't used it on its own without my cream blush but i think that it would look great on its own as well on days when im running late. It fades evenly off my sweaty, spf slicked face without making it too obvious that i have been wearing make up. I only blot my face with tissue throughout the day. Reapplying sunscreen on top of it doesnt muddy the whole look either, tho it fades it significantly but that's understandable because i dont even set it with powder. I do use a setting spray. I dont go heavy upon initial application, i build it up according to how much I expect to be able to get away with maintaining a natural look for the day. I find that going heavy at first makes you try to erase/remove it and have to rework it on your face as opposed to using small amounts and working up to your desired look. Ive also used this as an eyeshadow which caked onto my crease, but again, i did not set with powder. That said, i think this will be a staple for me this summer. I have light skin, not fair, light. I have a cool undertone. There is not a bronzer shade that works for me in this lineup. I purchased Amber because it looked neutral and seemed like it leaned more pink than the other colors. It looks orange on my skin, even though it says the bronzer is neutral. I may have purchased the wrong shade, but looking over the options again, I purchased the shade that was most likely to work for me, it just doesn't. Why don't you have a neutral/cool shade that is super light as your lightest shade? I could work with that. Why is the first shade warm-toned when so many of us with fair/light skin are actually neutral or cool or need a bronzer that is? It makes no sense and I wasted my money. I am not pleased with this bronzer. I am including a photo of me wearing Amber. It looks terrible with all of my cool-toned make-up and my skin. It's the color of the first channel bronzer that is best suited for light skin tones. Then, I go to exchange for the next shade up but look at it!!! The next shade up is for deep skin tones and neutral!! If I wear anything cool or nuetral I look like I crawled out of my own grave. Where is a decent shade for light tan and tan skintones??!! The jump in shades is ridiculous!!
