My hair is heavily highlighted to a level 9 or 10 blonde. As my bangs grew out and I trimmed them, I wound up with a brown streak right in the center of my forehead, so I bleached it. I ran out of time to tone it though, so I gave this a shot and it worked. I've used it multiple times in different areas and it's pigmented enough to tone yellow hair, but not so much to turn my lightest blonde hairs purple or gray. I definitely would not use it as a replacement for purple shampoo or conditioner though, so I'm not sure I'd actually buy this product. But it is nice to have around the week or so before I go to my hairstylist. I applied it after my regular products, so I can't evaluate if it made my hair softer or less frizzy, but it didn't leave any sticky residue or anything. This actually made my hair more frizzy and drying, which is not normal for my hair type. I feel like I have other leave in treatments that work better for heat protecting as well so this is a product that I won't use consistently. Everyone has different hair types so it will work different on everyone, but unfortunately this is not for me.
