I'm 39 years old and noticing my fine lines showing with my usual favorite foundation. Also my foundation always lifts off my face about an hour after wearing it. I decided that I should try something different. I decided to give this serum a go. At first glance it seemed a little greasy and hard to blend, but after a 20 seconds or so the greasiness fades and the covering starts to kick in. I don't like a shiny face so I did apply a tiny bit of setting powder along with some blush and it looked very natural and matte, but not cakey. The real test was how long would it take to lift off my face due to my excessive oiliness. It's been almost 8 hours and NO sign of lifting or shine! That alone makes it worth it for me! I wear the lightest color Nude 0.5-2 and it's pretty close to my skin tone. I have a yellow undertone which is difficult to find pale shades in, but this still looks pretty natural on me. Overall, I'm very pleased with this serum. I dont mind the dropper, because pumps usually put out too much foundation, especially if I want to add a little more coverage to certain spots on my face.Most Helpful Critical ReviewGood product, great colors, problematic packagingGreat formulation for a product like this. The color choices are for broad ranges of shades and I'm pleased to say that despite how light and cool I am, the color worked great for me. The product stays on longer than the foundation balm, especially when set with a spray. I do not like how it performs when set with powder. I have 2 complaints: 1) the product goes on streaky with a brush and its too thin for a sponge so I put it on with a brush and then go back over with a damp sponge to tap out all the streaks. 2) the packaging is a disaster. Total mess. Fortunately I was able to find a pump online that is compatible with the bottle but the pump should be part of the packaging. Feedback for Loreal Product Management: I get why you went with the dropper bottle. It helps the product stand apart visually from other foundations in the Loreal line and it reminds me of a serum bottle. But I suspect most of your customers are using this like a foundation, not a serum. And since the packaging is such a mess you're not likely to get 2nd time purchasers who have lots of other choices. I recommend switching to a pump top or a soft pump tube and make the pump dispense a tiny amount - like when a skincare serum comes with a pump. Your life will literally change forever. The only downfall to this product will be the ridiculous packaging. The dropper sucks as mentioned in pretty much every review out there.
