Boy does it ever. It smells like the grown up version of the Iced Pineapple from back in the 90s. So win. The only problem that I have with it is that it leaves what feels like a film on your hands, but I think I that is just because I didn't get it rubbed in all the way this last time. The smell is not overpowering, just a nice subtle pineapple. Hopefully, Ulta won't murder this one.Most Helpful Critical ReviewNot the SameI loved the previous vanilla version. But they've changed the formula, and it's terrible. While the scent isn't unpleasant, it doesn't really smell like vanilla. It hardly smells like anything (very weak scent). And the consistency is thinner and less moisturizing.
